Man accidentally shoots himself in the head while demonstrating 'proper' way to do it

A South Carolina man has died after demonstrating the proper way to shoot yourself in the head police say.

James Gagum, 43, was watching a movie at his home in Conway early Friday morning when a witness said he began to argue a character's handling of a gun, according to WPDE.

He said, 'that's not how it's done,' before pulling the trigger three times while holding it to his head, according to the witness.

Police say the death was an accident and Mr Gagum didn't realize the black handgun was loaded, firing off on the third squeeze.


He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Emergency Medical Services.

A teenager traveling to a Sweet 16 party was killed after he stuck his head out of the emergency hatch of a double-decker bus and hit the underside of a highway overpass, authorities said.
The gruesome accident followed the warnings of a security guard on the bus who said he told the teens repeatedly not to open the hatch.

Daniel Fernandez, 16, was among 65 teens aboard the bus Friday night from New York City on its way to the party in Garfield, N.J., said Steve Coleman, spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

The teens were dancing and the bus had gotten hot, the security guard, Alex Franco, told the Daily News. Still, he said, he had asked the teens to leave the emergency hatch alone.
"I told them not to open the hatch, like three or four times, but kids, they don't understand," he said.

Franco said he had gone downstairs to tell the driver that it was getting too hot. "Two, five minutes I was downstairs," he said.
But then he heard teenagers screaming, and he saw Fernandez on the floor of the bus. "There was so much blood everywhere," he told The New York Post.
Fernandez, who lived in Queens' Woodside neighborhood, was pronounced dead at a hospital.
 
Hmmm. One decedent was Black, and another had a Hispanic surname.

Jeffrey A. Spurr was checking out the grip on Michael Wdowiak's .357 revolver when the gun went off, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.


Both men serve in the Florida National Guard.


They were in town to help with the Republican National Convention.





Can't imagine why.

A drunk 17-year-old in south Texas died after shooting himself in the head with what he thought was an unloaded gun, authorities said.


Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Treviño told The Monitor newspaper that Israel Torres had been drinking heavily with his father and younger brother before the tragic accident on Monday night.



"It was just an accident under the influence of alcohol," Trevino told the Monitor.



"All three are pretty drunk when someone pulls a .380-caliber, semiautomatic and shoots it into the backyard," he continued.

"The 17-year-old gets it and tells his girlfriend, 'Here, look, pull the trigger.' "



The girlfriend was too scared to handle the gun, so Torres took out the clip --but apparently didn’t check the chamber -- put the pistol against his temple and fired.



He was killed instantly.

Bigfoot hoax ends in death, authorities say


A man trying to create a Bigfoot hoax on a highway died after being hit by two cars, officials in Montana said.

Randy Lee Tenley dressed in a Ghillie suit -- camouflage designed to resemble heavy foliage -- and stepped out onto Highway 93 Sunday night, officials said.

"He probably would not have been very easy to see at all," said Jim Schneider, a state trooper.

A 15-year-old girl hit him with her car, another car swerved, and a third car driven by a 17-year-old ran him over, CNN affiliate KECI reported.

Tenley was "well into the driving lane," and according to his companions he was "attempting to incite a sighting of Bigfoot -- to make people think they had seen a Sasquatch," Schneider said in the KECI report.

But authorities received no calls from drivers thinking they had seen Bigfoot, the station reported.

Officials with Montana Highway Patrol District 6, which includes Flathead County where the incident took place, said Schneider was not available for comment Tuesday and that the official report on the incident had not yet been filed.

Oh, because I am a Christian I should mourn the death of every person? lol Sorry, I am not spending my life in perpetual mourning to satisfy what other people think I should believe or feel.

If someone is stupid enough to put a gun to their head or stick their head out of a moving bus, we didn't lose much.

Mock? I simply said it was probably better for the population as a whole. But ok, I'll mock their stupidity. Hopefully, between the fear of death and the fear of being mocked, fewer people will do stupid shit.

As for whether the bible says its OK to mock the death of people, read it and get back to me. But do tell me how they were innocents? Didn't their own actions cause their death? If they are innocent, who is guilty?
