Day Two of Trump's Iranian War: three U.S. servicemen killed, five seriously wounded

Trump says 'there will likely be more' US deaths as Iran strikes to continue until 'all' goals achieved

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) says the first day of operations in Iran resulted in "highly significant achievements" - but warns that "many more days of combat lie ahead"

The whole thing is a Democrat dirty tricks to pry some military votes away from him because the majority really like him. Have you noticed the huge spike in recruiting after he got in office? John Bolton has no reason to lie to support Trump. The two cannot stand each other.

"Several White House staff and Trump campaign aides denied the president ever made the comments.

Bolton’s defense of the president comes just months after his release of his memoir “The Room Where It Happened,” which offered a behind-the-scenes look at Trump’s discourse with officials in the White House."

This whole thing does not excuse you using the tomb of the unknown soldier for partisan politics. That is truly disgusting. And I'm not kidding.
No one would believe Trump's word or John Kelly's when Trump lies, like he breaths.

Especially when Trump was fine exposing on the world stage how much disdain he has for soldiers when he mocked soldiers who get wounded. Arguably the second highest group to pay respects to behind those who die for the country.

And you do not know that it is true so I'm not going to brand him with something that is not provable.

Now about McCain. Trump was angry at McCain and let his tongue get the best of him and he said things that he absolutely should not have said. AND I SAID SO AT THE TIME. The thing is Trump was mad at McCain but he wasn't mad at the soldiers in France.

McCain served honorably. And I respect his service . McCain refused early release from prison because the rest of his men were not offered early release too.

McCain was a terrible RINO senator. He voted to politically hurt Trump at the expense of the American people. I'm sorry he died but I do not miss him in the Senate.
Calling McCain a RINO is all we need to know about you and that you have no more respect for vets like him, than Trump does.

McCain was TRUE GOP. You can say he was not MAGA and that is accurate, but MAGA is Republican in name only. Maga officially rejected most of what defined the prior GOP party and bragged how they took it over and changed it.

Maga is NOW pivoting back towards the old GOP, with NeoCon endless wars and regime changes in the US.

Reagan did them. Bush Sr did them. Bush JR did them. And Trump has now done them. Each and every POTUS from the right ends up NeoCon and feeding the military complex what it wants.

Reading all the JPP MAGAts who support spilling American blood for Iranian oil is a predictable progression from when they supported risking American lives for Venezuelan oil.

I believe you here - but I think you're giving Trump way too much benefit of the doubt.

He has shown us over & over & over again that he just cares about one thing - Trump. I have never believed him when he says he cares about Christianity or religion, or about our military, or about anyone else - even his voters. I genuinely don't think he does. If he has moments where it seems like he does, it's more transactional.

It was a war started to deflect that the president is a pedophile and a traitor.

Yeah. Such impressive planning! What's next? trump: "we'll see what happens". <-- I swear that man's another Churchill!
That wasn't Trump's doing. It started with the Weinberger Doctrine during the Reagan era. It's proven a mixed bag at best.

I never mentioned any war during Trump's campaign. I'm not a war guy.
You are very easy to dislike.
trump did. He promised, "no more foreign entaglements". He kept accusing Obama of intending to attack Iran to help him politically.

I guess trump took his own advice.

In his election night victory speech in November 2024, Trump told his supporters: “I’m not going to start a war. I’m going to stop wars.” Two months later, in his inaugural address, he went even further in trying to establish himself as a global peacemaker. “We will measure our success not only by the battles we win but also by the wars that we end – and perhaps most importantly, the wars we never get into,” he said.

It doesn't seem like we had a plan outside of "create a leadership vacuum and hope either the Iranian people or some better group of leaders takes over."

I really don't know. I don't trust this admin. I don't think they're intelligent, or particularly competent. And for what it's worth, I haven't thought that about too many admins, GOP or Dem.

Which is why I think we shouldn't engage in these conflicts, unless provoked or there is an imminent threat. We're not very good at this.

Friend, the Iranian people are not going to let America take their oil. At best they'll be nicer about the supply.
It's more about controlling the price of oil. Despite all the whining, the US is a net energy exporter. This is about keeping the profits stable and protecting our trading partners, if not hampering our trading competitors....plus distracting from the Epstein Files.

The United States has been an annual net total energy exporter since 2019

Up to the early 1950s, the United States produced most of the energy it consumed.1 U.S. energy consumption was higher than U.S. energy production in every year from 1958–2018. The difference between consumption and production was met by imports, particularly crude oil and petroleum products such as motor gasoline and distillate fuel oil. Total energy imports (based on heat content) peaked in 2007 and subsequently declined in nearly every year since then. Increases in U.S. crude oil and natural gas production reduced the need for crude oil and natural gas imports and contributed to increases in crude oil and natural gas exports. The United States has been a net total energy exporter—total energy exports have been higher than total energy imports—since 2019.

Total U.S. energy exports in 2023 were the highest on record

On an energy content basis, even though U.S. total energy imports increased by about 1% in 2023, U.S. total energy exports were the highest on record, at about 29.50 quadrillion British thermal units (quads), and increased by about 8% from 2022. Total energy exports exceeded total energy imports by about 7.80 quads, the largest annual margin on record.

Trump was clear but i am still getting inb4 @FastLane and other magats read your post and reply with 'why do you support Iran regime?' because they are hopelessly lost on this topic and know Trump lied to them again, in the biggest way possible.

Trump has not asked Congress for a authorization of war, nobody asked for this war, and you never mentioned anything about wanting a war with Iran during the presidential campaign last year.

Do right-wing atheists, right-wing Christians, and right-wing Buddhists not believe in the innate value of human life?
I don't like it when civilians are killed.
So what about when the 40,000 plus civilians that were killed in Iran, bitch?
Innocent civilians, by the IRGC, who is getting hammered right now by the IDF, you fucking peckerneck!
I know you have no sense of wrong and right, but this is justice.

It's the common strawman argument from trumptards. If we don't support trump's boondoggle, we're "anti-American". It was the same during the Iraq War. People not supporting the war were shit upon, "either you're with us or you're against us".
