Interesting how the conversation regarding the many, many failures of the Toadstool always gets diverted to yeah but Obama and yeah but Clinton (who left the WH almost 20 years ago). As for the ACA, premiums for health insurance go up every single year and have for decades. Ours went up as well after the bill was passed, but at a smaller rate than previously. We had private insurance through Mr. Owl's employer, so we kept the same doctors.

You can argue that it went up for poor people. They got access to healthcare after not having it for years and years. They got some government subsidies that made it possible for millions to get access without going broke. But paying a small cost is still paying.
No the rest of Americans did not get higher costs. You are confusing it without present healthcare that costs go up year after year, copays increase and coverage shrinks. That has been our lot in insurance for decades. Pay more and get less.
