Define Irony.

Winning the lottery and dying of a heart attack in the excitement...

Having a fear of flying and your first time risking it is on a Boeing 737 Super Max that crashes...

Those are unfortunate, not ironic. Being afraid of flying, and then having that fear justified, is just unfortunate. Having a plane crash into a press conference about how safe planes are is ironic.

Morissette has a lot to answer for. She wrote an entire song "Ironic" with no irony in it, WHICH IS SUPER IRONIC!!!
