Dem call for Unity Rings Hollow

Remember when Democrats called for peace and unity in the days following the 2016 election of Donald Trump? Neither do I.

In fact, I remember my congressional office being inundated with angry calls from people alleging voter fraud, demanding investigations, and insisting Donald Trump could not be allowed to assume the presidency.

Back then, they wanted a special prosecutor, criminal investigations, lawsuits, and congressional hearings to ensure there would be no peaceful transition of power.

In the months following, the “Resistance” was born. Clinton voters, many from outside my district, packed my town hall in the days following the presidential inauguration.

They carried out a well-documented plan to disrupt the meeting, displace many actual constituents, and shout me down. Similar acts of sabotage were replicated around the country, all following a script developed by Resistance activist

Trump supporters are welcome in Biden's America.

No, that's not how it works. You need to show a definitive link between those statements and some death. You can't so your whole premise is built on essentially a lie..

You repeated all of Trump's COVID lies the last 10 months, so you're complicit in them.

Do you think anonymously shitposting on JPP absolves you of guilt or blame for this pandemic?

You said it was no worse than the flu...that was a dangerous lie that got people killed. Like Herman Cain.

Trump lost. I can deal with that. Can you deal with the coming failures of the Biden administration?

I doesn't seem like you accept or can deal with that since you're still here questioning the integrity of the election on other threads.

The fact of the matter is that you're just a loser.

Irrelevant complex question fallacy.

You just typed four words that have nothing to do with each other because you're coming to the realization that you're going to be tied to Trump for the rest of your life.

So you won't be able to shitpost anymore because you'll just have to defend yourself as you carry all of Trump's baggage.

Trump will be gone, but the stink he left on you will last your lifetime.

"It's no worse than the flu"

You've said that dozens of times.

Okay... I'll say that one again. It's no worse than the flu.

If you don't have a clue about logical reasoning and what logical fallacies are you should be quiet, because the above just makes you look stupid.

All the stats you show help make MY CASE that it's worse than the flu.

Trump even said himself it was worse than the flu (to Woodward, of course).

240,000+ people have died of COVID this year. When was the last time the flu killed 240,000 people?

Posturing bad faith as "reasoning" is usually what intellectual lightweights do when they realize they cannot distance themselves from the positions they've already staked out.

My baseline for elections and fraud is If it's not close they can't cheat. Anytime a state election is decided by less than 5,000 votes--anytime--there is a potential it is a fraudulent outcome. If it's less than a thousand votes, then there's a damn good chance it's fraudulent.

So, are you now going to repeat that utter and complete lie that fraud in elections doesn't happen to try and counter that, without offering a shred of evidence?

This amounts to an ad hominem as it is addressed to me rather than my position.

You supporting Trump makes you look stupid.

Join America. Join civilization.

The problem TA has now is that he went all-in on Trump this year...all in on the COVID lies...all in on the Impeachment lies...so now that Trump has lost, TA is trying to reposition himself in an effort to get everyone to forget all the stupid shit he's been repeating the last 10 months.

That's why I predict in about a year, TA is going to pretend he's never even heard of Trump.

Just wait. It'll happen. He's already tried to re-brand once in the last couple weeks.

Republicans are opportunistic cowards. Sen. Cruz will announce he never really supported Trump.

Your opinion is now intrinsically linked to Trump.

So...everything you say has that unfortunate baggage attached to it.

There's nothing you can do to shed that baggage either.

It's going to live with you forever, and people like me are going to keep pointing it out and bringing it up.

Then you can be the guy still defending Trump, even after he's gone.

I wouldn't want to be that guy.

Trump will disappear down the same Conservative memory hole that Bush the Dumber disappeared down.

They will staple teabags to their faces, or glue coffee filters to their heads, to prove somehow that they are sincere in their convictions.

But the joke is that everyone knows they aren't.
