Dem senator flies to El Salvador to visit alleged gangbanger in prison — only to be denied

Kilmar Abrego Garcia received some due process in 2019 through immigration hearings and the granting of withholding of removal, but the reliability of the evidence used against him remains disputed. His March 2025 deportation, however, was a clear violation of due process, as it ignored his protected status, lacked a hearing, and was deemed “illegal” by courts, including the Supreme Court. The ongoing failure to facilitate his return, despite court orders, further compounds this violation, raising concerns about executive overreach and the erosion of constitutional protections. The case remains unresolved, with Judge Xinis actively seeking evidence to determine the administration’s compliance.

Wouldn't it be nice if the left and their media was concerned about returning the AMERICAN CITIZENS taken hostage by Hamas as they are about this illegal's return? But they aren't...

“…On Wednesday, White House press secretary said the El Salvador national was wearing "a sweatshirt with rolls of money covering the ears, mouth and eyes of presidents", which she said is a "known MS-13 gang symbol".

She said he was arrested alongside two other members of the gang, and that "two separate judges found Ábrego García was a member of MS-13".

Van Hollen knew that the president of El Salvador had already said that Garcia would not be returned to America.

He was grandstanding and supporting a member of a gang designated as terrorists.

Stunning.

This evidence is irrefutable:

He was in the US illegally.
He is a citizen of El Salvador
He had four outstanding warrants for failure to appear for traffic violations
He had restraining orders against him for domestic violence against his wife
There are multiple sources that confirm his being a member of MS 13, a legally declared terrorist organization in the US.

What's at odds now is:

With his being in a terrorist group, does his protected status stand up still? It was granted at a time when MS 13 was not so designated. Can a district judge overrule the executive and executive branch on national, domestic, and foreign policy?

I suspect, that "due process" in this case won't fly when this hits the supreme court. In fact, my suspicion is that the supreme court will come down hard against district judges issuing national edicts, against them widening cases to class action status without standing, against them making national, domestic, and foreign policy decisions.

This is coming to a head, and I don't see district court judges coming out of it unscathed.

The Left and Democrats indirectly by demanding that this gang banging thug and criminal be returned to the US so he can have another day in court.
There is no such person. He is an American apprentice, living and working in America. He is married and has 3 kids.
He does not have 34 felonies on his record. Actually he has none. So if you care about criminal records, how could you vote for Trump?

Then you aren't paying attention.

He has two--2--restraining orders against him that his wife got for him perpetrating domestic violence against her.

He is an MS 13 gang member

He was in the US ILLEGALLY. His marital status and family are irrelevant to that.

As for the whataboutism, that too is irrelevant.

The gang that he said might kill him in El Salvador no longer exists.

More likely, it never existed to begin with. After all, it was only when faced with the threat of actually being deported did this thug start trying to avoid it. He had plenty of time earlier to appeal his order of deportation, but didn't care when he knew he wasn't really going to be deported.

Is this about that dope dealing wife beater who was hanging out with MS-13's and got caught trafficking illegal aliens under Biden and let loose? That's what the deviants are sniveling about? lol
