Democrat socialist marxists could save their precious democracy if only.......

I know what Jim Crow laws are.

They were a set of state level laws specifically designed to keep--not "disenfranchise" but keep--Blacks from being able to vote. Poll taxes, literacy tests, and the like. Such laws were unevenly and unfairly applied only to Blacks or minorities.
Let’s be clear. They were voted by DEMOCRATS

If you were honest you show that Harris was calling for an airing of all views and opinions, to as she explained it, “brainstorming,” but you get all your views off of MAGA talking heads so honestly wouldn’t be expected
And she listed those. I didn’t misrepresent anything.

Are you saying democrats haven’t been on record with those things? Try not to lie. Don’t make me embarrass you further

Jayapal doesn't even know what Jim Crow means. She's just parroting a line that Leftists use. What current legislative measures are being attempted that amount to a "Jim Crow law?" Be precise here.

What "voting rights" would Jayapal "reinstitute?"

Tennessee just eliminated the State’s only black Congressional District, it took Memphis, 65% Black, and divided the District into three District dominated by white rural voters. One could argue Tennessee in effect it eliminated existing urban and black relevance and power thereby created a dual plus unequal system

Why do you think districts should be based on color? Seems kind of racist to me

So? Since when should the US base congressional districts on race? What you're arguing is for Apartheid. If a Black candidate is the best one in the race, they'll get elected regardless, unless you are saying that everyone in the US is racist.

She threw them out there for discussion, asking others to do same, called brainstorming

Sure they have, just like MAGA has thrown out all kinds of ideas including the five hundred plus recommendations of Project 2525

Memphis district wasn’t just about race, it was also Tennessee’s only urban district, and now the chances of Tennessee ever having a urban let alone Black Congressman is nil

So you are saying I was right and you have been blowing smoke with lies and distractions? Who knew? Wait. I did

Urban, Black, whatever. Those are NOT reasons defining what a congressional district should be. Everybody gets equal representation. Not certain groups get representation. What you keep arguing for is racist, sexist, apartheid, or whatever bigoted thing you want to use.

Isn’t it a coincidence that of all the ideas she could gave spitballed those were the ones she articulated?
