Democrats Outspend GOP to Lose...Again; TN 7th District goes to Van Epps

Didn't u IDIOTS go ape shit over Dim wins in blues states a few weeks ago
I didn't.

But if you MAGA morons want to crow about a GOP win in a state like Tennessee...do it. I enjoy seeing it. I am sure our Democratic Party colleagues do also.

I was just surprised. But I guess nothing should surprise me about the MAGA morons. I should just laugh at them...and move on.

No, you claimed the election was not telling since it didn’t occur during a national election,
No, I claimed that special elections are not general elections. (IOW, apples to oranges comparison)
that one could not compare it to Trump’s twenty point victory.
This is correct. (22 point victory, btw)
I showed you were wrong
No you didn't.
that the former rep won the district in local and national elections by the same twenty plus point margin
Irrelevant. You are still trying to compare a special election against a general election. The "former rep" elections that you are trying to compare this special election to were also general elections.
Next year is also not a national election,
Next year is midterms. Next year is a general election, but NOT the same general election as if a President were on the ticket (a "national election" as you call it).

Next year is what is comparable to the "former rep".
and next year the national party will not be spending over two million to get him elected
Next year the national party won't have to spend anything to get him re-elected because all the voters who weren't interested in (or forgot about or didn't know about) a special election will turn out for a general election. He'll win by twice the margin that he won this special election by.
Second time, want to try again
Second time, want to try again

Special election, midterm election, neither of them are national elections, and your “point” that if it were a national election, one with Trump heading the ticket, would have changed the outcome is moot given that previous GOP Representatives from that district won with the same twenty plus margin in both national and non national elections, the GOP base didn’t relocate for this election

Special election, midterm election, neither of them are national elections,
I literally JUUUUUUUST said that, anchovies. Do try to keep up.
Yet, here you are, trying to pretend that they are all the same.
and your “point” that if it were a national election, one with Trump heading the ticket, would have changed the outcome is moot
Nope. It is completely valid for the reasoning already stated.

Irrelevant. "National" and "non-national" elections are NOT special elections. This was a SPECIAL election.
the GOP base didn’t relocate for this election
A lot of people in general didn't turn out to vote for it. It's a SPECIAL election after all.

You are just recycling the same bullshit, be it local, national, or special, the GOP always preformed high, very high, in the district regardless until now

Says who? They only this well because it was n off year special election = low turnout; GOP STILL WON.
The GOP knew it wouldn't even be close so the turnout was low. Off year off date and right after holiday travel time and middle of Christmas shopping season. Hard to get excited when you know you are going to annihilate them.

GOP won with half of their victory rate a year ago.

That's in line with the Democrat victories of the last two months.

The GOP is clearly weakening.
