Omicron has been found to elude ordinary cloth masks in a way the first strains did not. Fauci, Win, et al are only saying that for Omicron better masks are needed, the surgical kind or doubling up on old fashion cloth masks.

Both the OP who started this dumb thread and the member you quoted either can't tell the difference between 1) lying and 2) changing advice on what to do as the virus changes, or they are lying themselves.

There is no such thing as an 'Omicron' variant. There is no such thing as a 'Delta' variant. It is not possible to have a variant of a variant. The so-called Delta and Omicron 'variants' are pure fiction.

Masks are completely ineffective against viruses. All viruses. You might as well try to stop a fly with a chain link fence.

Medical Class 1 masks (surgical masks) are completely ineffective against a virus. These masks are designed to stop fluid spatter during surgery. Surgery can get kind of messy at times. Surgeons typically wear glasses to protect the eyes as well. For those with good vision, they use a zero lens.

First, when given a list of ten separate times in which Democrats recently did a total 180 on their ignorant anti-science COVID assertions that they acted like unhinged Nazi psychopaths over every time someone pointed out their uninformed inaccuracies and unthinking inconsistencies (and these are the people who want to control what everyone else gets to state as facts on social media), you responded by rushing in to address some completely unrelated claim that no one even made.

And you were even immediately proven dead wrong on the irrelevant claim you were trying to make, after about a five second Google search. You then tried to avoid the debate by pretending that Biden not being a virologist somehow disproves the claim that Democrats lied and were the ones not following the science while smearing others as doing what only they actually did.

When your illiterate inability to follow the conversation or think sensibly was naturally then laughed at, you responded by insisting that you veered off and answered the one question no one was asking to simplify things for others (attempting to project your own demonstrated stupidity onto the people laughing at you).

You also tried to avoid the debate by changing the subject to smearing the news source that keeps getting proven right, while your sources constantly get proven to be intentionally lying...not that any of this matters since "attack the source" fallacies are always weak and invalid).
