Jefferson was reelected. This is the man who pulled National Guard troops out of NO to move his furniture and the man who had $90,000 in marked bribery money in his freezer. In other words the usual liberal democrat. LOL

Meanwhile the Justice Department says no charges will be filed against Foley as not LAW was broken.
 
Well the voters have spoken. Just like they did on Bush in 04. "We know he is bad but we want him anyway" is the message the voters said in this scenario.

Complaining about the democratic process ?
 
Most all politicians are crooks, apparently the voters thought the repub candidate was a worse crook. This speaks worse for the repub candidate than the demoncratic one.
 
But you should wonder about a party that would elect Jefferson, or people like Marion Barry in DC, or Hasting an impeached judge. Why when thier guilt is proven are the reelected?
 
I guess they feel the only other choice they have is worse. Again does not speak well for the repubs if they can't beat a crook.
 
I don't buy that lame excuse. This was the democrat choice to run for the position. Is this the best they have?

I don't vote party lines. I vote against the candidate I consider to be the most dangerous to my interests. And I don't vote outside my assigned voting site, that is illegal. Coulter did that though . btw I voted for one Rebutliken last election.
 
The run off was between Jefferson and another democrat, a black woman. What was so wrong with her? LOL

first off, it is all up to Attorney General Gonzalez now....

not Pelosi, but "Bush's" man.....

If Jefferson has committed a crime THEN HE NEEDS TO BE CHARGED with the crime he committed, otherwise, he as free as a bird, like the rest of us....

there IS NOTHING that the Democrats or Pelosi can do, it is in the hands of the Justice dept and Gonzalez to charge him...otherwise, he's not guilty of a damn thing....

Knowing the bush administration and thier SCUMMINESS, Gonzalez won't charge him and try to blame this on the democrats somehow... gees louise!

But I do enjoy watching the repugs get their panties in a bunch when an unqualified crook gets elected over their choices.

I LMAO at the faux outrage.

That being said, this dude seems like a slimeball, and I hope he is forced to leave when he's indicted.
 
I couldn't care less who people in other districts elect...

Remember that Independant guy who preached against the police? Congress often has their oddballs. If the guy can be proven guilty I expect them to indict him soon enough.
 
Republicans get thrown out when accused of a crime, dems get reelected even after conviction of crimes.............go figure.
