Apparently your memory is lacking; did you forget the attempts by Democrats to steal the election by divining votes from hanging chads and the angry mob like attitudes that the Bush Presidency was illegitimate? How about the lies about his National Guard service and how he was unqualified to serve as Commander and Chief?

Un huh....you're forgetting that all politics is local and trust me....if that wind of change blows locally then those anal retentive conservatives will change with the wind two. First law of politics. Get elected. None of the other principles of politics matter if you don't meet the first law of politics.
 
FACT: GW Bush disobeyed a direct order from his TANG superior officer to report for his annual flight physical. As a result of not taking the physical, he was removed from flight status. Oddly enough, any documentation regarding any disciplinary action taken against him for disobeying that order has been strangely lost in the National Guard archives.

I don't know how they do things in Texas, but I do know that, throughout my service, if I had ever disobeyed a direct order from my superior officer, there would be a record of that in my service record and my career would have been over as of that moment.

Cause far more State Department employees died by an order of magnitude under the Bush administration than under the Obama administration. Which won't mean shit if the GOP can find a charismatic candidate that can communicate a clear message and plan for his policies and can stay on message and can gain the GOP nomination without veering so far to the right that he/she loses credibility with the national public. You're making a big strategis error if you think Hilliary being nominated is #1, a done deal and #2, a sure thing if she is.

I don't think that either is the case. I do think that she is the odds on favorite to win the democratic nomination, and I also happen to believe that, with the ascendancy of the tea bagger movement in the GOP, their primary process will force the successful candidate to run much further to the right than they would otherwise need to or want to and will hamper their ability to shake the etch-a-sketch and instantaneously reposition themselves closer to the middle where all the votes are.

I'm on phone and don't know how to post the link but just saw Hillary barely won a majority of democratic women voters in '08. That doesn't mean they won't vote big time for her in '16 but they didn't seem to jump at the chance in '08.
