Devout CATHOLICS Bishop Biden & Pope Pelosi - have Dem voters found religion?

What is the Dem obsession with voting for devout Catholics to lead the country and their party?

Democratic voters aren't particularly likely to go for Catholics. For example, out of all the very many Democratic nominees for president, I believe only three have been Catholics. Currently, in the senate, 15 of the Democrats are Catholic (out of 50 senators who align with the Democrats). 75 Democrats in the House are Catholic (out of 224).

However, it's true that Democrats are more likely to vote for Catholics than Republicans are. But that's consistent with Democratic tendencies towards diversity generally. They're also more likely to vote for Jews (all the Jews in the senate align with the Democrats, and in the House there are 25 Jewish Democrats versus only 2 Republicans). They're also more likely than Republicans are to vote for Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus, Unitarians, atheists, agnostics, gays, immigrants, women, etc.) Republicans only very, very seldom will vote for anyone who isn't a heterosexual, native-born Protestant, and there aren't even many women who win office as Republicans. For example, in all of American history, every single Republican nominee for president has been a straight, white, male Protestant (assuming you consider Mormonism a form of Protestantism).

Yep, Democrats are two-faced. That is a lot of Catholics.

Nixon was a Quaker, and Mormonism is not protestant. Trump was Presbyterian but became nondenominational. Bush was Episcopalian, but became Methodist.

Jews fear socialists. They are very familiar with Germany's social justice warriors, and the Dems hatred of the Jewish nation. BTW, Jews have a reputation for being fantastic capitalists.

Dems choose candidates according to skin color, what's between their legs, and religion, not merit.

You really think Harris was the best qualified for VP?

How so?

That is a lot of Catholics.

It's a bit above the percentage of Catholics in society, just as with Republicans it's a bit below.

Nixon was a Quaker

Quakers are protestants.

Mormonism is not protestant

That's a topic of debate, which is why I specifically called it out.

Trump was Presbyterian but became nondenominational.

Trump was a confirmed protestant at the time Republicans elected him president. There's no evidence his new "non-denominational" labeling rejects any aspect of Protestantism.

Jews fear socialists.

Most Jews vote Democrat, and most Jewish politicians are Democrats. As with other minorities of nearly all sorts, the GOP just isn't terribly welcoming.

Dems choose candidates according to skin color, whats between their legs, and religion, not merit.

While I agree skin color and sex matters in choosing Democratic candidates (all but one presidential nominee in their history was white and all but one was male, and all but two VP nominees were white males) so clearly they have a strong preference for white males), that preference is somewhat less pronounced than among Republicans (where all the Presidential nominees were white males Protestants, and all but one VP nominee was). Democrats mostly vote for white, male Christians, and for Protestants in particular, but they show more willingness to divert from that occasionally than do Republicans.

You really think Harris was the best choice for VP?

She was a good choice -- a way to help with turnout among women, Blacks, and liberals. VP slots are often "spent" on making the overall ticket more competitive -- the same way Trump picked Pence because, as an infamous and areligious libertine, Trump needed to shore up the evangelical vote, and Pence was seen as a true holy roller. So, she may well have been the best choice in that sense.... and given the way she beat Pence in the debate, and the subsequent convincing win by the Biden/Harris ticket, it's hard to argue the point. As for whether she's a good choice when it comes to being a heartbeat from the presidency, I think so. We're not talking about some bubble-headed gimmick candidate, like when McCain chose Palin or Bush chose Quayle. Harris is a smart politician with deep experience, who worked her way up from the ground floor in the highly competitive world of California's politics.

Two faced because Democrats hate Christianity, and especially Catholicism because it is Pro Life and believes promoting homosexual behavior is not good for society, especially children.

Ok, I'll agree with you that Protestant means every Christian denomination except for 2, Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodoxy. Protestantism is extremely diverse. The majority of Black Americans are protestant.

The GOP is extremely welcoming contrary to the Leftist Media false narrative that claims the majority of White Americans are neo nazis.

Yes, Harris was chosen to get the racist and sexist vote Dem voter, despite her inability to lead, constant cackling like a school girl in heat, calling Biden a racist, and horrible popularity as a Pres. candidate.

Pence and Palin were both governors of States, traditionally considered to be the best resume for a Pres. or VP.

Why don't the Christian hating libs point out the hypocrisy of these two liberal icons?

The dumbest thing that my parents ever did was to pretend that they were bringing me up Catholic.

Funny thing. Once I refused to go to church--any church--as an adolescent, they stopped going too.

Thankfully, that foolishness was not representative of their overall parenting.

Obviously, your heroes Biden and Pelosi would disagree with you.

Devout CATHOLICS Bishop Biden & Pope Pelosi - have Dem voters found religion?

No. They are as evil as they come.

Proverbs 21:15
"When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous
but terror to evildoers."

White Libs, you tell us how awful the Catholic church is, but you voted to put the two most awful, arrogant, "saintly", hypocritical "devout" Catholics in charge of the country.

So which is it? ... Catholics are putrid ... or Catholics should run the country?
:dunno:

6 of the 9 Supreme Court Justices are also Catholics and 5 of them are not Democrats.

John Roberts, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Sonia Sotomayor, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett -- are Catholic. Thus, the court will consist of six Catholics, two Protestants, and one Jew.

So that's why white libs chose devout catholics Saint Pelosi and Saint Biden. Thanks!

No Kavanagh, Comey-Barret, Alito, Thomas and Gorsuch were hand picked by Republican Presidents. Pelosi and Biden were voted in by we the people. It's the conservatives that want the Catholics. There are more Jews in Congress that are Democrats, Republicans only have one Jew. Democrats vote for any religion Jews, Christians, and even Muslims. Repukes vote 99.9% for Christians for congress.

So the 2 Catholic Saints were "voted" in by white libs because there are 6 catholics that were appointed to the courts by presidents that were voted in.

White Libs hate the Jewish nation.

White Libs hate Christianity because Blacks are the most Christian demographic, and Hispanics are second.

White libs judge people by their skin color, and what's between their legs.
