He was itching for a confrontation.
The tapes clearly bear that out as well as his history of zealousness and paranoia in neighborhood affairs. I thought it was illegal for certified nuts to carry or own guns in Florida?

Zimmerman has a reported history of paranoia and fear. Did he single out blacks?
While some would make that distinction, I think it lessens the integrity of the argument that the man is just a nut. The tapes reveal that he never mentioned race until he was prompted by the 911 operator to do so and I believe that was only for additional identification information. I am not willing at this time to jump to any racial conclusions but there clearly is smoke in the air and a true and comprehensive investigation and subsequent trial and judgement by peers is in order.
True. First, Zimmerman needs to be arrested and charged before the facts can be proven.
USFreedumb says the "criminal" on this sign is wearing a "ski mask".

Probably nothing to satisfy your demons, USLoserman911, but I listened to the 911 tapes. My position prevails.
Racist image, or "criminal" in a "ski mask"?

So UsFreedumb is incorrect when he claims the black figure on the sign is wearing a ski mask?

Criminal in a ski mask. All that's missing, is a hoodie.![]()

So you think people in hoodies are criminals?

.Did I say that?

are you actually saying that you would prefer going to prison, say for life, having not committed any crime at all, so long as all guilty people never get away with a crime?
the brady spokesman had to backtrack, not the sanford PD. and his permit has not been suspended because he hasn't been charged with anything.
the main investigator is a police officer, not a prosecutor, therefore doesn't have the training or experience to know whether a conviction would be attained. He only knows that the police have charged other people for shooting someone when circumstances look the same.
the girlfriend, the witness, any other 911 caller. talk to a lawyer, see how often it happens.
I'd make a better judge than you, because you can't get past your bias against zimmerman. sorry, you're rush to judgement could let a guilty man go free. something you claim you don't ever want.

known murderers? you want this hypothetical to involve people already convicted in court? or just through the media?Lets say you and 10 known murders were in a court room and the judge said. We either let all of you go or all of you go to jail. What would you do?
the problem appears to be you assuming facts not in evidence.Whose brady? Anyways the point is that he SHOULD have been charged. If that was a Evangelical, Jew or wealthy child that was killed, Zimmerman would be in jail. Black, Hispanic or Muslim? Not so much. That is the problem.
the main investigator IS a police officer and NOBODY has an explanation for the states attorney's actions for anything other than him saying he didn't think he could get a conviction with the evidence they had. Now, a reasonable person would think 'fine, lets take our time and gather more evidence', but most people here are not reasonable. This is nonsense! The main investigator gives his PROFFESSIONAL opinion to the police and the police act upon his opinion. In this case, his opinion was over ridden by a State Attorney which is indeed unusual!
AGAIN! Looks like a cover-up!
Law enforcement experts have said that is extremely unusual for a high-level official to be present in the station after a local murder on a Sunday evening.
They say it is even unusual for the chief of police to go to the murder scene on a Sunday evening, which he did.
Maybe you can explain why the SA payed a personal visit to GZ?
once again, it assumes facts not in evidence. You have a father and son with two different testimonies. One(or both) is obviously lying. Either one ruins Zimmerman and his dad's credibility.
it's sad to watch you claim these things and see that you clearly have no real knowledge of our justice system. how could you possibly believe you'd be a good judge?Actually I think I would make the perfect judge because I have seen and been threw alot in my life. This is not about judgement. This is about a bungled cop investigation and the fact that Zimmerman was given a get out of jail free card!
I think there is enough evidence to contradict zimmerman's story and thus enough to bring it to trial.
do you know what happens when you rush an investigation and a trial due to your gut feelings, your ideological beliefs, and your ridiculous desire to see criminals get punished? you get results like the casey anthony trial. you wouldn't want a murder getting away with murder because you fucked up the investigation, would you?You wouldn't want a murderer getting away with murder without a trial would you?
