Did I mention I'm black?

You have to be black to be a Muslim? So Johnny Jihad, white dude from Marin, turned black?

Only a conservative would say something as dumb as this.

No, of course not Caw. IB1's statement, in case you were not paying attention, was not "All black people are Muslims", or "All Muslims are black people". It was hinting at the general feeling that a lot of white people have that pretty much all muslims are Arab, or black Nation of Islam churchgoers. Get it? I thought not.

Hey Mississippi, don't hate because Johnny Jihad is from the Bay. Hate is so unbecoming.

I know there are racists. But a few bad apples shouldn't allow some people to speculate that the whole bunch is spoiled.

No one is even remotely suggesting that the whole bunch is spoiled, rather acknowledging there are some bad apples in the bunch .. and how do you get rid of them .. you single them out, not ignore them.

Why not?

Do you think the right isn't going to say it?

What makes it a "strawman" if it's a real thing?

Did he preempt the right but throwing this out there and coming right out and saying what they're going to say?

Should he only talk about race in glowing terms .. nottalk about the reality of it?

Who is he referring to? He's claiming "did I mention he's black" is going to be part of the campaign by republicans, correct? He's putting words in other people's mouths to make them look moronic and racist. The caricature is so flimsy it needs no knocking down, so I guess you're right, it's hardly a strawman.

What do you think "baby's dady" was?

What do you think Rev. Wright was?

Of course they're going to attack him because he's black? Is there an argument that they won't? Did he put Rev. Wright and "baby's daddy" in their mouths?

I don't agree with running a scared campaign .. too afraid of fronting racism headon. His ad was right to the point, the desperate are going to try to paint him and his family as people we should be afraid of. He simply called them out on their playing field.

Fair enough. Faux news is a political tool. The baby mama thing was so incredibly stupid and racist.

I honestly haven't seen anything about wright besides god bless/damn america soundbite. I think there is room for criticism in his rhetoric, but I understand the racists latch onto it as well.

Anyway, I'm still voting for Obama. That is, if I decide to even vote. Retards like me should be banned from the booth for voting for Bush.
