Did Trump pull a fast one on Mullet?

I get the burnout too. But I don’t work weekends lol.

The purpose? At minimum, it throws a temporary wrench in the works. But as Turley pointed out, Trump could appoint a Chris Christie and force Senate democrats to confirm an AG that would reign in Mullet—just so Mullet can get his authority back. Or they can turn the appointment down—but then it drags on even longer.

Like I said, this could get interesting. We’ll see how the judge rules in the Miller case.

Again, Idiot, Christie is a RINO.
Dems like him.
He appointed Muslim judges.

He is mile to the left of any blue dog Dem. Fucking retard.

not really. In the end Mueller is going to do whatever he wants and no one is going to stop him. It would just look to bad if we were to order him to stop. the best we can do is discredit him so that half the population does not believe what he says.

Hardly you fucking child.
It only matters if the judge believes his evidence.

Why would you need to discredit him if the Donald is innocent?

I don't think Trump will appoint Christi.. He's had too much fun demeaning Christi.

Whatever you are imagining, Omar, you are off kilter.

That's fine. That's what we have judges for.

However, if you believe Trump is truly innocent, you would have no trouble letting Mueller continue.

They know the Don is as guilty as his black soul or this thread wouldn't exist.

The game plan looks simple to me. Whitaker gives Rosenstein and Mueller their walking papers. Whitaker then resigns and someone else is nominated and confirmed. The nothing burger investigation goes away as it should.

Sure Herb.
Why don't you check out the early '70s and see how that plan worked out for Nixon.

The only reason Mullet was acting under Rosenstein was because Sessions recused from everything Russian.

Sessions is gone, so Mullet reports to the acting AG. You can’t make up new rules as you go. Wait, what am I saying.

We have some serious government corruption.

Are you getting dizzy with that circular reasoning yet?

Omar is flatly wrong about who decide to whom Mueller reports, as that already is a fact that he reports to an appointed principal (only Rosenstein is available at this point).

Sad Pimp is a nad wimp and will never pay real attention to real facts.

Let’s allow a judge to decide how flatly wrong Omar is or isn’t lol.

Mueller can only report to an accredited principal ratified by the Senate.

That is Rosenstein not Whittaker. Whittaker will be gone shortly without doing anything.

You need to read this carefully!

“At issue is the Constitution’s Appointments Clause, which provides that “principal officers” must be appointed by the president with the Senate’s consent. Rehnquist wrote that independent counsel Alexia Morrison qualified as an “inferior officer,” not subject to the appointment process, because her office was “limited in jurisdiction” to “certain federal officials suspected of certain serious federal crimes.”

“Only a principal officer, such as a U.S. attorney, can behave the way Mr. Mueller is behaving. Mr. Mueller is much more powerful today than any of the 96 U.S. attorneys. He is behaving like a principal officer.”

Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team of prosecutors is reportedly growing frustrated with Paul Manafort's level of cooperation, even though he agreed to provide them with a "broad" range of information as part of his September plea deal.

According to ABC News, the former Trump campaign chairman has met with prosecutors nearly a dozen times, but they are "not getting what they want." If he is found not to be cooperating with the terms of the deal, Manafort could face additionl fines or an extended prison sentence.

Manafort is currently sitting in a Virginia jail "awaiting his sentencing on a host of charges brought by Mueller’s prosecutors in two separate jurisdictions as part of his investigation into Russian meddling during the 2016 campaign," ABC News reported.

In August, Manafort was convicted in Virginia on bank and tax fraud charges and will be sentenced in February, and he pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy in Washington, D.C., as part of the deal.

That’s up to a judge to decide lol. It’s an unprecedented act so it can probably be taken to court either way.

Will it suck if Mullet is in limbo until the Senate confirms an AG?

Who has standing to bring this before a judge you silly fool?

Mullet may be registered as a republican but I suspect his first allegiance lies elsewhere. That’s pretty obvious, actually.

The democrat Clinton donors on his team are common knowledge to anyone who has been following this:

So long as Trump is the target, anything goes, apparently.

Mueller has a long standing reputation of a man bound by honor and integrity... so I agree he would forego partisanship for duty.

I wonder if it’s ocurred to them Manafort has nothing to offer lol?

To whatever degree that’s actually true, he showed a serious lapse of judgment in loading his team with partisans.

The media doesn’t report on it, but Mullet’s past is a little checkered. He and Comey blew the anthrax case back in 2001. They convicted the wrong man and the government was forced to pay a 5 million dollar settlement.

Average people get fired from their jobs every day for that degree of incompetence.
