Like I said in the beginning of this mess, just because you call out the behavior of an individual or even a group of people doesn't make you a racist, or a misogynist, or an Islamophobe, or an Anti-Semite, etc. The bigot label is deserved if you see a small segment of a group doing something you think is egregious, and then apply that paint to *everyone* in that group. How many times have we seen, for instance, conservatives here making up bullshit about liberals as a whole, based on some news incident involving some alleged liberals? And the other way around, too.

I 'retired' after 26 years when a couple of partners and I started our own online DBA service several years ago. Far less stress than the corporate life. Less money, more freedom, less stress .. longer life. I'm sure your husband can relate.

I hope so. That's serious progress if you think about it. To think when I was a little guy, football players were not paid much, no free agency, now coaches and quaretrback commanding high salaries.
Certainly no drop off in skill or expertise as all the racists wanted us to believe. Ownership in basketball already, a black potus, tons of professionals and millionaires and billionaires the world over.

That's in a generation and a half. Pretty remarkable. Still more to do until there is social justice. Probalby take a century or more until its complete and there is really a brotherhood of man.
Just need some of these jerks to die and hopefully not infect their kids. Continue the affirmative action and enforcement of antidiscrimination laws until that happens.

It wasn’t that long ago that there were no black quarterbacks or head coaches in the NFL though their were plenty of qualified persons. An ownership of a major sports franchise by any group other than the good ole boy club is a mark of how far we have come but keep in mind that that recognition actually already belongs to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL. If P. Diddy and his group are successful, and I wish them well, they will not be the first.
