Promiscuity is simply part and parcel of male homosexuality. When gay men "marry" it is expected that they will continue to have sexual partners outside of the relationship. This makes adultery less of an issue with gay men.

Lesbians actually expect their partner to be faithful - hence the higher rate of divorce.

It's often easy to tell which men and women are divorced when they bad-mouth the opposite sex. I've seen people destroy themselves over it and ruin any chance of happiness. I've worked with both.

Better to learn and grow from divorce.
