Do most view Politics as Sports teams!?

If I believe in conservative principles why wouldn't I surround myself with like minded people? I see no problem with Dems doing the same. It's asinine to suggest otherwise. That's not the problem. The problem is Dems don't actually believe anything they say. That's not a partisan thing to say it's a fact and I pointed it out to you.

That is not true, Democrats stand for what they have always stood for going back to FDR, that the government should work for the citizenry, that in time of need, the Government could be an agent of change. They haven’t drifted far from that defining principle

On the other hand, GOP has anything resembling a coherent philosophy. Republicans used to believe in tight fiscal policy, and were concerned about the national debt. They used to believe in a muscular foreign policy, Judicial restraint, weak Federal Gov’t especially Executive power, and law enforcement, today all subjective to occupies the White House

First it was merely an example and never claimed it was at the tip of anyone's agenda. Second I never claimed all democrats are opposed to border enforcement. Third you didn't address my question and lastly your post is a perfect example of why talking to a democrat is nearly impossible.

Your question was, “How would a politician appeal to a member of the other party? If I'm a republican let's say and I want more strict border enforcement, how would I sell that to a democrat?”

My my answers were fitting, all Republicans don’t see border enforcement the way you do, and I gave you the example of a Bush Republican, and you implied all Democrats don’t want strict border enforcement which isn’t true. You appeal to the members of the other party by offering them a less extreme view as dogma

Govt working for the people like mandating vaccines that don't work???? Like that? Or punishing achievement through taxation. Weaponizing the fbi to declare parents terrorists????? Like that?

We agree repubs have been no friend to the American people because they have decided it's more important to be liked that to do the right thing.

Where did I "imply" it? Put my words down not your opinion.

The blind allegiance from both sides to root for politicians is inherently illogical & sub Human.

If you just boost your base, how can you dare claim to truly care about the political conditions of America!?

Here is a far better example of your OP from a thread about legitimate reasons to vote for a republican:

You are a sadist/bigot/racist/asshole and want to be led by people just like you.

Your love for taking cruel advantage of credulous people, or watching others do so, is what gets you all hot and bothered.

I'm not really a Democrat or Republican.
Nor do I think that moderate racism or nationalism are problematic.

The whole blind following argument is bullshit. People have real beliefs. They're not always logical, and they're not always moral, but they're usually very real.
Only clueless idiots aren't ideological.

The whole concept of bi-partisanship is also bullshit.

Our political parties have finally evolved to a point where the biggest difference between them is more than the spelling.

If you're going to have a party, it should actually stand for something,
and that something should be substantially different than that for which other parties stand.
We've finally gotten back to that point now.

The next step is for the parties to break up into multiple ones with MORE SPECFIC values. Generalization is the enemy of reason.

This will happen next. Electoral wins will be non-existent in the new multi-party America, assuming America fucks up as expected and doesn't partition,
and ALL presidential elections will be determined in the House of Representatives.

I won't comment on the Republican clusterfuck of a party, but in my own party,
the moderate assholes don't belong in the same realm as the Bernie/Liz/AOC people like me.

Its irrelevant what you are or what you think is problematic. What I posted there was clear evidence of the way the left views their opponents. It's ignorant and small minded just like Democrats and I've shown you ample evidence.

Both sides are guilty of fabrication & biases against the other side, while just boosting their base.

So I hope I'm wrong but are you saying that moderate democrats are not welcome in your party which is the party of Bernie shitstain/ I dont know who the fuck Liz is/ and An Obnoxious Cunt?

Boost achievements & morality regardless.

Most here are professional muck rakers.

They are from their perspective. My morality says don't kill babies. I've told that to thousands Democrats. What to guess how most respond? Am I a "professional muck racker" if I say that?
