Fortunately, Republicans aren't all in lockstep, and some are starting to speak out.

What will happen on 1/6 is that there will be objections from both the Senate and the House. There will then be 2 hours of debate. Then, they'll have a vote that will affirm Bidens victory, and Pence will go through the formality of ratifying that result.

It will be more like a circus sideshow for a few hours, but the result will be the same. Hopefully, voters remember it.
 
This is the most likely avenue that will be taken. The states who behaved unconstitutionally (ignored the legislatures and had their governors
and state attorneys general coordinate to change the rules themselves as they went along) did a grave disservice to their citizens. Their actions
will cause those illegal votes to be discarded. Their state will be disqualified because they ran an unconstitutional election. The left's voters can go
and riot and set fires to those states' pols' homes and property for what they did to them.
With the high probability of both Trump and Biden not reaching the 270 mark, it will go to the legislatures where the remaining states who held
constitutional elections with legal votes will each give their 1 solitary vote and Trump would win.

Right now from all reports (even CNN), the method appears to be the least time-consuming method of resolving this... playing
the Jefferson card.

an OPINION on what I think and always ended with "we'll see."

Texas changes were challenged in court and the courts ruled against them. Trump won that state, so they aren’t challenging those results, anymore.

In PA the legislature changed the rules over a year before the election, not the governor, not the state attorney general. He lost. Move on already.

You know, I think some of them they really do. I'm guessing that most of the congressional Republicans on board know it's not going anywhere, which is why they feel safe signing on the line. The rank and file Trump ass eaters who actually believe in widespread voter fraud and actually believe Trump won the election and actually want the government, legislature, and courts to overturn the democratic will of the people should have their citizenship stripped.
