Do the GOP lose their House majority next week?

I don't know if this true but I am hopeful.

HUGE BREAKING: Republicans will LOSE MAJORITY in the House as soon as NEXT WEEK, according to reports that a Republican Rep. Neal Dunn (R-FL) will announce an early retirement. That exit that would drag the House Republican majority out the door with him.

Because of the tight majority Mike Johnson has, Dunn making an early exit would make it all but impossible for Johnson to move any bills forward unless he can win over Massie -- who now hates his own party -- AND at least one Democrat.

This is very, very good news.

Dunn's spokesperson say, howver, that Dunn will serve out his term.

I believe there are currently 3 open seats in the House so the majority is not 218.
Democrats hold 214 seats.

Why is it "very, very, good news?"
