Do Walls work? A serious border question. Open

Yet another attempt at censorship. This time by Kewpie. Bringing the thread out for open discussion.

The OP:
I am trying to follow the logic on this as Trump is still out claiming 'he did build the Wall and all that remains are some finishing touches', and that he was successful when it came to that campaign pledge and yet the Trump Wall is not stopping the migrants?

So how is that 'Trump succeeded in building his wall' ... 'Walls work' ... and yet 'Migrants are still getting in to the country'.

Magats, please explain.

QPeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeee, derp, derp, derp, you get dumber with each post.

The sudden invasion of illegals since brandon entered office can be explained in this one video,

Try really hard to be smarter.

While this doesn't answer the question he asked, it does point out that if Biden invites open invasion of the United States (an act of treason), no wall will mean much of anything.

Yes, walls work when they are also patrolled and guarded.

Are walls alone the solution? No, but they certainly make for a good security measure.

This directly answers the question. Walls work if they are properly guarded and patrolled.

Another example, relating to the wall with Mexico...illegals were crossing the Rio Grande into Texas (a natural 'wall') and getting through razor wire put along the border by Texas guards until Texas guards cleared the area of brush and started patrolling it!

Walls can keep people out, but they can also keep people in…remember Berlin.

Yes...the Berlin wall was pretty effective at keeping people in East Berlin. At least Phanty is admitting that walls work. It's still a false equivalence fallacy because the wall along the Mexican border is not keeping people of the United States in. It's to keep illegal immigrants OUT. As so clearly pointed out by T. A. Gardner, walls need guards and patrols for them to be effective.

Why did you not post a picture of Trumps Wall, since it was basically completed and why does it not work?

There are many pictures of the completed sections of Trump's wall. Your question has already been answered by T. A. Gardner. RQAA.

They can keep you in as well. People who support wannabe dictators always think fascism won’t affect them. They were wrong.

You have a weird fixation, Phanty. Why do you think Biden's fascism has anything to do with a wall or keeping people in the United States?

While this doesn't answer the question he asked, it does point out that if Biden invites open invasion of the United States (an act of treason), no wall will mean much of anything.

QPeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, knows exactly what that meant.

How do executive orders affect an already build big beautiful wall such that it can stop migrants one day from entering but does little to nothing the next?

RQAA, Phanty. The question was already answered by T. A. Gardner and others here.

Agreed on this solution. Too bad none of the Republicans want it. Why? I'm guessing because they like looking like they are working on the problem but are making too much money on the status quo.

A wall won't solve the problem; only making it illegal to employ or rent to illegals along with mandatory E-verify and other legislation will immigrants seek to come to the US illegally.

A wall DOES solve the problem, but only if it's properly guarded and patrolled.
The welfare illegals receive does not go though E-verify and it is not employment.
The crimes they commit does not require E-verify and it is not employment.

Pay attention, Sock.
