Do you consider college scholarships a type of WELFARE?

There are many forms of scholarship so one answer makes no sense.

When my daughter was graduating high school we were seeing a wide variety being issued none of which were means tested.
Daughter got a handful of small awards all rewards based (she was extremely active in and around the school and community) and a favorite of the principal.

Now without seeing any research on total dollars and their sources, I would have to say in my anecdotal world it would be a no.

I do know that schools have funds available that they use to make it possible for kids they really want to attend which you can consider needs based and some portion of them are used to get their minority numbers up. But without research, I cant say that turns the dial.

Are you talking specifically about taxpayer funded scholarships, or are you including academic and athletic scholarships from private universities?

THINK!

Private universities.??? HAHAHA. Few of those in america. Can you name any accredited 4 year college that does not get taxpayer money?

You mean the sponsor SAID they were not means tested. But they were and that should tell you most of them went to darkies. You liberals lie about everything. You still telling us rittenhouse was a racist who shot 3 BLACK people???

well if you're so sure of this then perhaps you can offer up some proof.
I know that the ones in daughter's graduating class were not means tested because I know those parents personally. Nice upper middle class folks. The athletic ones went to seriously good athletes.

They are extremely means tested so clearly yes - they are welfare. Yet another form of special treatment for blacks.

Those who don't get a scholarship are still getting welfare since their tuition covers only a portion of the cost of their education. The remainder comes from state and federal tax revenue.

So college is an apprenticeship? You do not gain anything in learning things that do not make money?

Yes - that's the way it should be. College should train people for jobs and i mean useful jobs like engineer or businessman. No sports or music or literature or gender studies.

Schools should teach STEM only . That would make colleges 99% white and 80% male but that's how it goes. Nearly all useful people are white men.
