Do you want walmart employees in your house stocking the frig??

Would you??

Personally I like to pick out my own stuff... I was dating this lady a couple years ago that did it w/ Safeway (just delivery) & would always complain about the poor quality of stuff & she was right.......... One night I goggled it & Safeway was being sued w/ several class actions about doing exactly that.

How low is that, beating ppl out of produce, dumping out of code products on them etc..

Many that use that service do so because they have issues & here they are taking advantage of them.......

Is this a good idea??

Thoughts??

If you're seriously disabled like some of Mom's friends, that's different I guess. They already have Mom, or one of the other Church faithful do their shopping. As for me, I find prostate exams less invasive.

So you would not be a fan of having them come in & put the stuff in the frig.

Yes, I agree, it can be very helpful for some folks, no doubt, but hopefully they don't take advantage as did Safeway......

You seem to be looking down your nose at Walmart employees pilgrim.

I know you are very concerned about walmart employees so why don't you start a thread about that?? In the mean time do you have a comment on the topic??

Walmart is really pushing that on-line grocery shopping thing. Their produce is already marginal; I've watched the shopper-employees rush through the produce dept. putting items on their list into the blue bins w/o even looking to see if they're damaged, old, or good quality. I looked at the on-line ordering thing once when they sent a $50 off coupon. Almost all the stuff listed was prepared foods like boxed or frozen or canned stuff. Meats were bacon, packaged bologna and lunch meat. I'm with you, I want to pick out my own stuff. We buy very little pre-packaged or canned stuff like that.

Oh, so they limit the options...... On a reg order you can get anythng though??

Yes, that would be what I would expect, some kid rushing it out, clueless as to quality etc..

I can't see opening my house to a $10-hour employee who might be interested in seeing what else you have other than groceries.

You might re-think that when you are an old bag ... and nobody gives a shit about you .

Having someone come in and give you food ... and concern is a positive .

What do you mean when she's an old bag and nobody gives a shit about her?

No, I wouldn't. I think a bunch of stores do delivery now. Publix does here and I think Whole Foods has a deal with Amazon members where they deliver.

Better than Youtube employees

They just recommend child porn videos, I heard.

DEMOCRAT

A new report from the failing New York Times says researchers have found watching erotic videos on YouTube and following the platform’s recommendations leads to videos of young children.

The report comes months after the discovery that pedophiles were using YouTube’s comments section on videos of children to communicate.

The researchers at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University said users who watched erotic videos might be recommended videos of “girls as young as 5 or 6” wearing bathing suits or getting dressed, the report said.

YouTube said that turning off its recommendation system on videos of children would “hurt ‘creators’ who rely on those clicks.”
