It appears they will only use one day, and that will mostly be trying the Democrats and not defending Trump
We saw that coming. The day the Capitol was attacked they said Antifa did it.
When the FBI immediately said, "Um, no. You did it," they said, "Well, BLM though!"
And we said, "I see. But what do you have to say about Trump's role in the Capitol riot?" And they said, "Er, Maxine Waters! She said some stuff. Oh, oh, and AOC is a whore!"
And we said, "Ok, sweetheart. Hush now. Rest your sore head."

Have you been paying any attention at all to the ongoing trial? The House Democrats spent hours talking about Trump's incitement for months before the 1/6 rally and attempted coup.
Have you been paying any attention at all to what the Democrats are doing outside of the Senate chamber? Pelosi is working on the COVID relief package and had a press conference yesterday exclusively for that purpose. Biden is working on vaccinating and has restricted most of his public comments to that topic.

I agree. and history will be kinder to antifa as the movement which dates back to WWII has stood for antifascism. trying to blame their insurrection on antifa is them just admitting they are easilly duped, on both ends. They own this. the insurrectionists need to pay for their treason.

The senate trial will not come to a decision based in any way on either justice nd reason.
We all know that.
Nearly half of the jury is comprised of the orangutan's fellow insurrectionists.
Blood red states send, by choice, criminal insurrectionists to the senate.
The founders had very few if any models to study when attempting to form a democratic republic.
They did the best that they could, but they devised a catastrophically inefficient form of government.
Modern democracies have clearly done a better job.
Also, they brought together thirteen states into a new nation that were simply not ideologically compatible to be a single nation.
Thirteen incompatible states was a tough enough challenge.
Now we have fifty of them, so frankly, we're seriously fucked.
Being optimistic about it betrays a failure to face the problem honestly and realistically.
