Does Ma having HC affect dem turnout?

I'd say yes. Just in conversations I've had w/ people I know - if someone has a healthcare or health insurance issue, even if they don't love Obama's plan, they still want to see it pass, because the alternative is relatively hopeless.

But if you're all set, that obviously not a consideration...

which is what I mean, how can it be that big an issue in Ma if they already have it.
 
That's kind of a good point, Top. I haven't really heard anything about how a national health care program would work with state programs like the MA one.

And it's very possible that, as you suggest, voters in MA would be less motivated to see a health care bill pass since they already have it.

It must be change of season if I came up with a good point. Either that or the glow of the saints winning has me tuned up.
 
we don't wanna pay for poorer states healthcare. we already have one here and on a state level have much lower population of poor folks to support. National healthcare would hurt MA.. thats the fact.
 
My mom needs health care,but she cant afford it. My disibility health care is being cut.
Hopefully we can get national health care system going.

If you don't want to pay for poorer Americans healthcare, why would you even pass UHC at all? Congrats on making no sense.
