I'd say yes. Just in conversations I've had w/ people I know - if someone has a healthcare or health insurance issue, even if they don't love Obama's plan, they still want to see it pass, because the alternative is relatively hopeless.
But if you're all set, that obviously not a consideration...
That's kind of a good point, Top. I haven't really heard anything about how a national health care program would work with state programs like the MA one.
And it's very possible that, as you suggest, voters in MA would be less motivated to see a health care bill pass since they already have it.
My mom needs health care,but she cant afford it. My disibility health care is being cut.
Hopefully we can get national health care system going.
we don't wanna pay for poorer states healthcare. we already have one here and on a state level have much lower population of poor folks to support. National healthcare would hurt MA.. thats the fact.
