SS has many experienced and trained computer experts on staff. The system they have works fine. Updating has been explored for decades. They see it as disruptive and dangerous for the people on SS. Musk and Trump do not care about the people. They just bluster forward into destruction and chaos. Trump and Musk are ego-driven and do not listen to anyone who does not take a knee.
Musk band of bandits are not familiar with the problems of SS. There are many experts who have been working in it for many years and have it humming, Musk is trying to kill jobs. Trump and Musk make it clear what they think of workers. The rightys refuse to learn.
