Dogs

Just beautiful... And so very true... Thank you so much for sharing ♥️☺️

the funny thing is I fell in love with the Swissy breed many years ago when I saw them for the first time at a dog show. Never got one as they were just not a good fit for me (they are working breed and need to stay really busy). Then My sone in law decided he was going to get one !

Talk about my lucky day !

Well, just gorgeous...Isn't it the best being a grandparent?:) The big "kids" here are something special...Two brothers ...New Foundland/St Bernard/Standard poodle/ blue heeler mixes...160, 175...(STNewflipoolers...lol...) They stay busy herding the littler ones or strangers if we're not careful..arm in the mouth kind of thing....

My brother got a Newfoundland when his first daughter was born. Great dog and the perfect nanny !
The first time we went to see the baby after they got Bear I started going to see the baby and Bear got between me and her and started walking me backwards ! Brother started laughing and came over to show Bear I was friend, not foe and I was permitted to pick up my niece. Great dog.
Friend of mine has a St Bernard and boy is he something ! Beautiful markings, REALLY big sweet as can be and friend's youngest daughter's BFF. Friend also has a husky and new mastiff puppy. They obviously are serious dog people.

A truly golden retriever

A family’s new puppy made the most of his first walk — by digging up gold coins worth nearly £6,000.

Ollie, a Lagotto Romagnolo, was bought by Adam Clark as a surprise for his nine-year-old daughter Alicia last month.

The breed is notorious for digging and on his first walk around the local fields near the family's home, the young dog stumbled upon a small fortune.

Ollie instinctively dug up a total of 15 gold sovereign pieces, likely dating back to the 19th century.
