DOJ did a great job getting this guy!

It wouldn't hurt if you are going to talk about a subject to at least do some background reading. You have this fixation with the Orange Order as if they are a separate entity to the mainstream Protestant populace. I notice that you make no mention of the unionist paramilitaries such as the UDF, UFF etc.

I suggest that you read this excellent article by Christopher Hitchens, it says it all.

And yet your response was along the lines of what was already anticipated.
Thanks for staying true to form. :good4u:

If, by that, you mean my attempt to educate you has failed then that's also par for the course. It saddens me that so many Americans refuse to see events objectively but I suppose every nation has its mythology which is impervious to reason and critical analysis.

No, no; I meant by your inabilty to face up to your own countries problems and your desire to point fingers at the US. :good4u:

And I imagine there was some money sent to the UDA/UFF when they were committing acts like the Milltown Massacre

Michael Stone was a renegade who was acting alone as both the UDA and UFF denied any responsibility for his actions. He was given a minimum 30 year sentence and released after 12 years under the terms of the Good Friday Agreement. He was jailed again in 2008 for attempting to murder Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness.

As far as I know, the Protestant paramilitaries never received funds from America, they mostly got their money from donations in Northern Ireland and Scotland, protection rackets and bank robberies.

On a personal note, on my last trip to Northern Ireland in March, I drove past Milltown several times whilst working in West Belfast. Another site I visited, called Brougher Mountain near Inniskillen, was the scene of the deaths of five telecom engineers at the hands of the IRA in the 1970s. I had to drive through the very gates where they were murdered by a tripwire bomb!

It seems he bought the vehicle with cash and it was a pretty easy case to solve.

That being said they did the footwork and nabbed him before he got out of the country.

It would have been pretty hard to NOT catch this guy. LOL

He used his real email to respnd to the CL ad. hahahah.
