Donald Trump Admits He Doesn't See JD Vance As His Successor

If JD Vance was hoping Donald Trump would anoint him as his successor, he probably wasn’t thrilled by the president’s comments during his Fox News interview on Sunday.

After Brett Baier asked Trump if he saw Vance as his heir, the president quickly said, “No,” though he conceded his second vice president was “very capable.”

We already know that Don. Jr is going to run.

Are you upset about this were you hoping for Vance. LOL I suspect that Vance is a big boy and he may have reasons that he doesn't want to run, or he may want to either way he'll be fine. I'm guessing that it will be another Trump, won't you love that. We've got Don Jr., Eric, and don't forget the first female President will likely be Ivanka. It's going to be a great couple of decades. ROFL

Trump is always careful to select people who could never one-up him. The irony being that Trump stands a good chance of never making it to January 2029 and that President Vance will be in charge of the Trump legacy. LOL

You're such a pathetic clown.

Saying yes that he is the heir to the presidency is an endorsement.
There are no 'endorsements' three weeks into a presidency. Vance isn't running for office. Of course, this is nothing but semantics.

The question was meant to force trump to say whether he believes Vance is competent or not. trump can never let anyone else garner any attention.

trump will 'endorse' his son when the time comes.

This isn't an endorsement. It was a simple question meant to illustrate trump's confidence in Vance's ability.
He at was asked if he saw Vance as the heir to the presidency. How could he answer without it being an endorsement? Is he going to endorse somebody else in 2 years?
