Sure he does, call it playbook, strategy, or tactics, conquer the Ukraine and as many of the former Soviet Sates as he can, drive a wedge between the US and its Western Democracies, weaken traditional American allies, create division within the US itself, and Trump is playing his role perfectly

Correct. America is not getting involved in that war, even if Trump is getting involved in some meetings.
