Democrats are still old school in who they nominate for President. The nominee must have prior elected experience, or a rare military equivalent. Grant and Eisenhower had military offices that bordered on the political. We like to see how someone operates before putting them in the top office.

Michelle Obama knows this, and is not looking for the nomination. If she wanted the nomination, she would start by running for a lower office... like Senator... Which a previous First Lady come nominee for President did.

In short, Michelle Obama is not running for President in 2024. It is too late for anyone to run against Biden for the nomination, so Biden is the Democratic nominee.

Michelle Obama has shown no interest in entering politics. The Democrats would only nominate someone with some experience to the top job, so if Michelle Obama was interested, she would have to get elected to something else first. It is too late to register for most of the nomination contests.

It would literally take a time machine for Michelle Obama to run for President this time around. It would be possible, but unlikely in 2028. If she wanted to run, which she does not, it would be most likely in 2032.
