I've been to the store. I've been to the gas station.

Gas prices have been staying steady (still $2.79/gal around my parts). Grocery prices seem pretty steady to me too. In fact, hamburger helper is currently on sale for $0.99/ea, and it's been a looooong while since I've seen it sell for that low of a price (usually it is $1.25/ea at best, if not $1.49/ea. Manwich is still at the same "Biden-era price" of $1.49/each ($1.39/ea at Woodmans & Walmart)

Tomorrow, I will be adding some more hamburger to my freezer at $2.99/lb (the same sale price that I got it for in the Fall). Fuck paying twice that price elsewhere. Might even get me some $8.99/lb T-bone steaks while I'm at it!

So, what "price increases"? I haven't seen them at the store or at the gas station.

I don't believe you. If I did, then I'd tell you that either your Walmart has very lazy employees or you just happened to walk in at the wrong time that day. The stores around me have bottled water stacked to the hilt; no shortages here!

Oh, and shelves being VERY temporarily empty of an item (because it hasn't been restocked yet) is NOT a shortage.
