Trump set the table for this whole mess sanctioning whatever Putin did and wanted. Trump even did not allow transcripts of his talks with Putin. He relied on Putin's translators, not allowing one of his own to attend. How more clear could he make it? Trump was doing things with Putin he did not want the American people to know. Legion works for the Russians and the right throwing any pretense of honesty and fairness out the window.

What "quicksand?" What can Biden do to Putin other than start a potential nuclear war? Western Europe, particularly Germany, is dependent on natural gas from Russia. They aren't going to want their economies wrecked with an energy shortage so they're likely to tell Biden to pack sand over noises of going to war.
Biden might unilaterally go to war, but that's going to be a very hard sell to Americans. Most are going to ask WTF are we involved in Ukraine? It'll be like Biden got us into Vietnam II only with far greater danger of mushroom clouds.
Biden couldn't negotiate his way out of a wet paper sack. The guy's been wrong on virtually every major US foreign policy decision for half-a-century. Biden's a blithering idiot, a complete moron, and is likely to make a really bad decision here that fucks America in the process.
