More destructive than any specific policy item modern Democrats are pushing this year are the ideas they use to justify their agenda.

The $3.5 trillion bill that President Joe Biden and Democrats are now attempting to cram through Congress via reconciliation is meant to create a European-style, cradle-to-grave welfare state here in the United States. Sen. Bernie Sanders, the bill’s Senate author, has, for years, praised systems across the Atlantic. As have many other Democrats.

There are numerous specific arguments against the agenda that further expands an already onerous bureaucratic state, but it is the idea that traditional American life needs reimagining that should be rejected first. Because the most vociferous champions of the European-style governance are invariably the most passionate critics of the dynamism and glorious messiness of American life. The factors that propel our economic superiority — the unplanned and lightly regulated, individualistic and seemingly disordered free markets — chafe against the technocratic sensibilities of Democrats. For them, even American exceptionalism, the idea that the United States occupies a unique position in world history, is ugly and plainly wrong.

People aren't "refusing to work." They're refusing to work shit jobs for shit pay.

Have you ever noticed that all of these businesses posting passive aggressive signs on their front doors about about nobody wants to work are always the kind of place that probably wouldn't pay you much above minimum wage and expect you to be their wage slave? Small businesses that expect wage slaves are the worst with this self-pity shit.

This is so true. One time, my German uncle asked me why Americans give so much to charity. When I explained it to him, his response was, that's what we Germans look to the Government to do. Wealthy Americans are far more likely to have earned their money. In one long-term study titled “Family, Education, and Sources of Wealth among the Richest Americans, 1982-2012,” economists Steven N. Kaplan and Joshua D. Rauh investigated the behaviors and backgrounds of the 400 wealthiest individuals in the United States over 30 years as reported by Forbes. They found that the share of the self-made wealthy had risen from 40 percent in 1982 to 69 percent by 2011. Similarly, an analysis by finance researchers for the libertarian Cato Journal determined that half of the wealth in the Forbes 400 has been “newly created in one generation.”

Economies are infinite. Wealth grows exponentially when the market is allowed to do what it does best, match consumers with goods and services.

When Bill Gates invented his Microsoft products, he became an multi-billionaire. He also created a LOT of wealth. Many millionaires and thousands of high paying jobs went along with his success. With that, we had MORE tax paying citizens and thus, Government received more income. That is how the world works. Create opportunity and educate your citizens and growth, happiness and success will follow.

But that is not how the Democratic Party defines itself these days. They want certain parts of the population to believe that the economy is unfair and that some benefit while others are left out. They rely on the victimization of their constituents and cancelation of those who oppose them. The reason is simple. It becomes much harder to promise free stuff and buy votes from those who don't need your Government programs.

This author is 100% correct. If we want to save this grand Republic, our citizens need to wake up and reject the lies, false narratives and mischaracterizations hurled by the Obama's, the Pelosi's, the Shumer's and Biden's of the world.

Bill Gates didn't invent anything.

Every bit of software he sold was stolen from someone else.

Windows came from the Plato system, the Dynabook project, and the MacIntosh.
DOS came from CP/M, and that came from the ISIS project at Intel.
Spreadsheets, word processing (which Word really is terrible at), and every other Office product was similar stolen.

Bill Gates is also a Democrat.

Microsoft is a terrible example of capitalism.

Better to use Google or Amazon. Better to use the bakery down the street, or the guy running the hot dog stand, or the trucker on the highway. All of that is capitalism.
