DOW Jones is WAY WAY WAY UP

Liberals all over the Internet do this. Same old rhetoric, same old blatant hypocrisy, but hey, that's the length and breadth of many liberals go in a quest for facts.

It fits their hatred and animus and that's all the need to know.

The liberals shouldn't change a thing. They have a winning hand and should double down

They'll be fine.

This is a GOP peak - much like it would be a Dem peak to have it reversed. GOP is maxed out right now. It's like the Belichick/Brady era for Pats fans; it will never be this good again.

Most voters are myopic and forgetful. I remember when Obama won many liberals were saying this was the end of the GOP. Then 2010 happened. Now, cons are saying this is the end of the DEMS, well, I have a strong feeling 2018 will be like a 2010.

Not sure why America has such a penchant for pendulum swings, but, seems we do.

I thought about this today. Desh was nuts in '08 - for the GOP, it was OVAH. Permanent minority party.

The ideological people are just the most vocal, but I think many Americans are pretty purple/split in their views. Those voters don't trust either party w/ too much power.

But, the GOP will still pick up Senate seats in '18. Really good logistics for them. The House should swing back, perhaps significantly.

Bet you'd love to prove that one.

Investors gave Clinton a lot of credit for the tech boom. Not only did he get out of the way, but the balanced budget efforts of the '90's (Clinton working w/ the GOP Congress, to be fair) gave them much more confidence to invest their money, knowing that Washington was adopting a fiscally responsible mindset.

It's much more complex than just Clinton "getting out of the way." Whenever the economy does well under a Democrat - most of the time a Dem is President - there is always that "oh, it wasn't because of him" thing. But man, if the economy goes down, it's all about the Prez.

Trump hasn't done anything yet. I have investments, so I'm not exactly rooting against him in that regard, but let's see some policy.

Don't need to prove it, your posts do that for me.

I believe he is in the process of reversing some of Obama's EO's about banking, so we will wait to see what happens after that, if you want to talk about affirmative action.

I will say this, this has to be the craziest election ever. Trump has basically overturned all the tables. I just hope it doesn't ruin the place and instead makes a stronger America. I was surprised that McConehey (wrong sp, not looking up) said Hollywood should embrace him as our president, even though he can stand him.

Do you think he is right? Or should we continue to have riots and massive political divide. Obama was supposed to the be the great uniter, I really hoped he would be, but it got worse. I think the internet is largely responsible. People can say whatever crap they want, where before, that stuff was never said to someone's face.

My only hope for this country is a strong third party. I am so sick of both parties being hypocrites after each and every election. With Trump, it is hard to say he doesn't deserve it, as he is so brash and insulting. He seems to care nothing about mending fences etc. I thought when he took office he would temper down, but no, he pulls his same school yard temper tantrums with one of our best allies, Australia. I have no idea where our country is headed.

YaYurt the trumptard defending his orange master once again...
LMFAO

George Soros and Hillary Clinton, too funny, it's no longer all about Obama, Clinton, Reid, Pelosi, Soros or any other antiquated scapegoat you want to import, it's the Don's show now pal, and you got to defend the guy, Obama, Clinton, Reid, Pelosi, Soros, etc are only noticeable deflections

It was Obama's show for 8 years and people like you noticeably deflected to Bush and Reagan.

Obama policies helped push the DOW from under 8,000 to nearly 20,000 and whiny conservatives claimed he was "DESTROYING AMERICA".

I am happy that Obama FIXED America.

Obama pushed the food stamp users to over 40 million. Strange you don't mention that.

Early in Obama's first term, something bad would happen in the economy. His supporters said he hadn't been in office long enough to get blamed. However, when something did go well, Obama supporters were willing to give him credit although the time frame was essentially the same.

You have zero to base your opinion on and your predictive abilities suck ass.

BTW I am not predicting GOP permanence. Never did. Too many GOP suck balls like McCain

All I want is the court. Give me a 7-2 Supreme Court and I have protection against libtards like you

Now if Ginsberg and Breyer could get on with dying

I have decades of American political history to base my opinion on.

And my predictions are rarely wrong. Predicted the Iraq War was a huge mistake; predicted both Obama elections; predicted that Comey cost Hillary the election.

Ginsberg will be on the court until she's 90. Trump might get one of the other 2 - but I'm betting on a Souter.

Awesome news. Obama took it from 7000 to 19000, yet you didn't wait until don's jons dumpster takes it to 56,000 to give him credit while denying Obama any. Front loading your hypocrisy?

I agree with that for the most part.

But a redo of 2010 and beyond will depend on how Trump's policies affect the country. Recall that Obama and the democrats tried, and failed, to pass an immensely unpopular Cap and Trade bill; then they went on and passed Obamacare without a single republican vote.

If Trump has a successful presidency it's going to soften the pendulum effect; in other words, republicans aren't going to lose 900 plus seats if Trump goes two terms. Though granted, they're probably maxed out now.

Also, republicans in 2008 weren't in the same blabbering state of disarray the democrats are presently in lol. So that's a factor as well.

It should be interesting.

You predicted Hillary would win. Bet you claim you didn't.
