Trump offers 'Dreamers' a path to citizenship, wants other immigration curbs​


WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump is offering a path to citizenship for up to 1.8 million young illegal immigrants but insists on measures that would curb some legal immigration programs and provide a border wall with Mexico, senior White House officials said on Thursday.
The White House offered to more than double the number of "Dreamers" - people brought to the country illegally as children - who would be protected from deportation, describing it as a major concession aimed at attracting enough votes for an immigration deal from Democrats.

Funny when trump uses a topic to enrage his voters, then "changes his mind" after the election.

I am happy he did it, its a necessary part of fixing the immigration problem, but entertaining that his supporters got tricked.

Still very unlikely, much more likely Id have died from taking ivermectin instead of effective Covid treatments during the pandemic.

Again is this when the DEMS offered 28 Billion to build the " wall" if the Republicans would just sit down and talk about the problem and McConnell wouldn't even conciser it?
If it is don't go trying to put the blame all on the left, they tried to get a solution to the Problem it was McConnell and his Republican followers that shot it down.

He offered to give the Dreamers a pathway to citizenship back in 2018. The heartless Democrats would not negotiate.
