2...To instill enuff confidence in the Iranian citizenship so that they rise up and take charge of their own country as around 80% of the population was against the now defunct "and dead" old regime.

3...To offer amnesty to all Iranian military, police, govt officials, and even Republican guard who jump the fence and join they're fellow countrymen in a free Iran.

4....Once this is accomplished there will be not only a free Iran but also a pro west/pro American Iran.

5....By not having Iranian oil money to support terror anymore the terror networks and groups like Hezbollah will shrink in numbers very quickly. Terror NEEDS funding,...a Free Iran will turn off the money pipelines.


It is the hope of the administration that these goals can be achieved thru the air campaign,....I think it can. And quickly too. But, we are going to have to give them an Iranian figure to rally around,....someone who is KNOWN and has existing support. My bet is as soon as the bombing slows to nothing,...maybe another week or so,...we will trot out Prince Reza Palavi who is already quite popular there. This will be the beginnings of a free Iran.........

Israel took out like 30+ Hezbollah within an hour of them announcing they're joining the fight.
Trump is who started stuff like this with The Taliban.
He didn't take out The Taliban, they kept their word and didn't harm any American soldiers after that.
"Biden" fucked all that up, though. Or whoever was running things, that is.

Ok let's say insurgency for years. I mean first off I don't know how it will affect the us because we have no troops there but let's assume we somehow are involved. How would an insurgency block the straits of Hormuz?

The insurgents would be the same people in charge of all the weapons now: the IRGC. They wait for things to cool down then, when the Strait is full of tankers, pull missiles out of their mountain caves or dig them up out of the desert and sink several ships in the channel. What is Trump going to do? Bomb the shit out of Tehran which is struggling to rebuild the nation?

Iran is the size of Alaska, about 2.5 times the size of Texas plus is very mountainous. Lots of places to hide.

Have you ever really considered how this is going to happen?

I mean lets just talk about logistics. How are the IRGC getting paid? Im aware the IRGC has significant wealth stored in various banks and assets. How is that going to make its way to the IRGC members fighting? Theres no internet. Banking is down. Logistics are spotty at best with the US able to destroy anything spottable from the air meaning you can only transport small amounts of goods. Are you going to pay the IRGC members with banknotes? They would require wheelbarrows as it is currently 1.6m rial to the dollar.

How are you going to get food to the IRGC members? How will they buy other supplies? Are they going to raid the Iranian people? That will go well for popular support. A lot has been said about the time line of the US and its supplies and munitions. In reality the timeline of resistance is much tighter.
