You do realize that the links to stories aren't written by Drudge, eh? He just provides links.
LOL, I asked if Drudge was caught lying, and Blabo displays his lack of reading and comprehension skills by pwning himself.
Forbes says he lied, not me:
"Splashed across the Drudge front page right now is the headline: “DATA: ONLY 85 MILLION PAY FED TAXES.” This is the old trope about most Americans “not paying taxes.” And as usual, it’s a lie."

Isn't Forbes a conservative magazine, BTW?
Poor Blabo.
Isn't that about like anouncing "Dog chases cat"?
Again, the "front page" is simply a link to a story written elsewhere. Whether Forbes and yourself don't understand that it is hard to be a liar when you didn't say anything notwithstanding, linking to what somebody else says does not a liar make.

I think Drudge's dishonesty is manifest. This parsing words about his being a "liar" is hillarious.
And, in your estimation, what kind of effect does it have on Drudge's credibility to have links that are not trustworthy on his site?
Considering he simply links to zillions of stories, not much. What does it do to the credibility of JPP when somebody links to a story here?
While his site is an aggregate of links, he isn't the one reporting the HUGE majority of content on his site. There have been a couple times when he's tried to report his own stuff. Sometimes he hits, other times he misses those are what he would build a reputation on.
Ah, so the headline was lying and didn't represent the story, or did it represent the story it linked to?(1) Drudge often (but not always) writes his own headlines which serve as the links to other stories. Often, these headlines are misleading. In this case, the headline was false.
I can see this. Drudge also often links to CNN, Huffpost, and other sources liberals would consider to be reputable. It is an aggregate of information. I do think he tries to make his headlines lean right, and to pull an aggregate of stories and opinion that supports his own political view, but I don't know of any of the headlines that didn't represent what is in the story. (Of course I don't really go there that often.)(2) Drudge also often spreads misleading "news" by linking to less than reputable news organizations that themselves have an agenda or bias in their news pages or to opinion pieces presented as news stories. Like CNSNews in this instance. In my view, spreading falsehoods to a wider audience is lying.

Now, the Forbes story should indicate who actually wrote the story and how and if they were wrong. Attributing the story to Drudge is misleading.
The Forbes story focuses on the headline, which itself was wrong and attributed the incorrect headline to the proper source, Drudge.

Then it comes down to my first question, which you admitted we cannot judge as the story is no longer the headline and the link is no longer available.
I don't know if he "lied" because I cannot tell if the headline represented what was in the story or not.
