PHARM is very powerful and has the most lobbyists in congress. As long as we do not have public financing of elections, we will have those with the biggest pockets get their way. That is why we have people addicted to drugs and guns. That is why we have a huge military and spend billions on it.
Pharm sends millions of pills to a small town. They know what they are doing. They know people are getting addicted and dying. They do not care.
We know doctors are the first phase with their over prescribing of opiates. It is an easy response for people in pain. Then when they are not allowed to continue prescribing them, they cut them loose. These addicted people are out hunting a replacement. It often ends in heroine. A much cheaper option.
