Probably less than half. Her mother obviously has a lot of white ancestry, as do most American blacks. Markle herself might be a quarter black, more or less.

It all reminds me of trump's crying that he was not invited to their wedding. There are millions of weddings every year, he cannot be expected to be invited to all of them. They didn't know him, so were not going to invite him. Then trump threatened a major diplomatic incident if the Obamas (who were friends of the couple) were invited. Finally, Obama agreed not to go so that drama queen trump would not have a meltdown.

Meghan Markle excused herself from attending a formal reception and dinner the royal family invited the Trumps to so I think he was not invited to the wedding because the bride cannot stand him.

What sort of loser demands to be invited to a wedding where the bride cannot stand him? What sort of loser demands that the Queen ride with him in a carriage? She is in her 90's and riding in a carriage is difficult for her.

The Queen has to do many things which she finds extremely distasteful. She shook hands with IRA killer Jerry Adams, despite her husband Phillip's uncle Lord Mounbatten being killed by the IRA. He was also personally responsible for the disappearance of many in Northern Ireland.
And she met with trump... But asking her to ride in a carriage with suspension made out of leather, when she is in her 90's... That is not distasteful, it is physically dangerous. I can even understand trump suggesting it, but when the dangers to a very old woman was explained to him, he really should have stopped pushing for it.

I do not always have much respect for the whole idea of a monarchy, but the Queen has known she was going to be Queen or has been Queen for 83 years. That is 83 years to her mind she has served the British people. I think she has done her best at that job. There are few other people who have served their nation for that long. I mean she even repaired trucks for the war effort in WWII.
Her husband Prince Phillip was not born English. He was born in the Greek Royal Family that quickly went into exile. Almost every other member of his family chose to be German. He not only chose to be English, but he backed that up by bravely serving the English during WWII. He could have sat out the war in comfort, but instead chose to put himself in dangers way. He is very old, and is often not politically correct... But his service allowed us to be politically correct. Imagine how tough it was for someone like him to be second fiddle to his wife.

She's actually been the Queen for 65 years, she is 93 years old and ascended to the throne in 1952. In that time she has seen many a President and Prime Minister come and go, truly remarkable woman. As for the carriages, , she still rides in them. She may not be able to.ride horses anymore but still rides in a Landau such as here at Royal Ascot last year.

I said she "has known she was going to be Queen or has been Queen for 83 years." It was a somewhat clumsy statement, so no problem with you misunderstanding. At birth, it was far from certain that she would be ruler, but when her father unexpectedly assumed the throne, it became clear she would be Queen. From that point on, she tried to be good enough for it. So I put the beginning of her service to England at the point she became heir apparent.
trump wanted a Royal Carriage, which the Queen has not ridden in for over a decade. She did not even like that carriage back when she was in her 20's. It is apparently very uncomfortable.
Maybe it is time that the British people upgrade the ceremonial Royal Carriage. I know it is money, when money is short. But maybe it would be a good idea.
Trump deserves a royal kick in his huge ass.

Ok, you must mean the Gold State Coach, that is not very comfortable it must be said. Very much doubt if Trump would like it as sways alarmingly at times. It is pulled by eight horses and weighs over four tons.
