Abreast of the situations
What a ride.. doubled my money in less then a year on an investment that i had over 25% of my money in.

I am sure in the long run china will continue to grow but with there rates going up and us dollar going down think volatility is about to set in.

Yes top but I think sometimes you would keep a stock even if you found out the chinese company was kidnapping kids, grinding them up alive and creating a best selling snack food out of them so long as it continued to make a profit. I think that if the Mob went public you would buy stock in the most profitable family and cheer when they murdered rival family members so long as the profit margins went up. I think the only thing you care about in this whole world is money and the acquistion of wealth and you don't care if companies you invest in cover teething rings in poison and sell them to infants, do long as there is a buck to be made from it.

Damn those Chinese! How dare they hire their own workers and not Americans! No respect for God's chosen race!

Kudos to you. You see the big picture outside of you own pocket book. But you still contributed to the problem--so you owe us. :) If the rest of the world was as wise as you are---we would not have to worry about Communist China as a super power to recon with in the near future. It is not a good idea to halp make the second most dangerous dictator in the world (arguably) a very powerfull leader of a huge country. THE WORLD IS FUNDING THEIR MILITARY--AND THEY ARE HOSTILE!

I give a fuck who they hire. I don't like that they KNOWINGLY make poisonous toys for say to american kids. I do have a problem with them using slave labor to make goods for sale here but I know that will not stop. But parents need to not buy toys made in china, congress should pass a law that requires that casting, painting and packaging locations ALL be divulged on the package. China is selling toys that turn into GHB if a kid swallows them. Parents have huge buying power and can absolutely influence toy manufacture. Congress can punish companies by stopping the toys at the dock and not letting them through to the consumer, and by fining the companies that sell poisonous toys out of existence for doing so. There are LOTS of companies that make things in a safe manner and they will take the lead when we put chinese toys sellers out of business.

They purposely send out toys with cyanide in them? Gee, someone should do something about that, it seems they have sociopaths controlling things. The government is out to get me.
 
When a company in the US made it's own products at home. They were responsible for qulaity control and safty of their products. If their products hurt people, people sue. There is the check and balance. Quality control is easy when it is in your own building (a degree in quality control here). Quality control suffers when you have your neighbor down the street make your parts, and they usually have to be constantly baby sitted to make a quality product, if that is what you desire from your vendors. now imagine how hard qyality control is in a country that has no rules, and cuts every corner possible to make the least expensive product possible (one reason why we care who we hire). The manufactures are still responsible. they are the only people (and the Chinese company they work with) that are the benifactor of ourtsourcing to another nation. There should not be a thrid party developed to watch quality control for these companies. Their quality is not our responsibility, it is theirs.

If you are willing to disclose---I would really like to know what you do for work? How do you make a living? It seems fairly obvious that you don't face the same challenges as theMAJORITY of the people.
