I really don't understand what you're trying to defend here. I've mentioned several times that I live in Pittsburgh and have lived my entire life in mixed neighborhoods. I've seen the racism here in both the police and the people. The city was under a consent decree because of the lousy ways cops treat minorities. So don't lecture me about cherry-picking and tunnel vision because I see the inequality of treatment every single day.

I asked what experience you have when it comes to this thug theory of yours?
Do you know families of teens who have lost their lives to violence? Been to their funerals? Know their background, life stories, perhaps know them personally?
Saying you live in mixed neighborhoods and observe the lousy cops is just a perfect example of that tunnel vision, btw...I'm guessing you aren't in the CBD or SSF

Cherry picking doesn't become you. trump stated that racist skinheads are equal to the protestors with his "many sides" comment.

Explain to me how you can defend trump's stupid contradiction here: "We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence, on many sides."

Explain to me how demonstrating against racist swine compares to the skinheads' marching for hatred, bigotry and violence.

You're a nasty piece of work. Of course I know them personally, living in mixed neighborhoods means knowing the families and the life stories. I live in a racially and ethnically diverse neighborhood and work with the same kind of people. I've been out with black friends and have seen the way they've been snubbed and disregarded by bigots.

Also, for what it's worth, my neighbors are educated and have well-kept lawns, houses and cars, nicely-dressed children and participate in community activities.

Is your neighborhood diverse? Do you do the same things I do? Or do you just sit in the teachers' lounge and pass around racially-tinged jokes for your fellow travelers to laugh at?
