Dying

If you would leave, it would quickly revive.

Seriously, it is @Dutch Uncle and @Number Six that keep people from wanting to post here.
Then there’s posters like me who enjoy abusing them.
We have a nasty troll infestation.
Damo wants it that way. There’s no other forum like this.
Back on AWE we had a special forum called "The Duck Pond" for a troll who went by "One White Duck," who VERY well might be Douche Duck. Cereal Killer didn't ban him, but locked him out of all parts of the board except the pond. @Damocles might consider a "troll farm" of the same type for the two mega-trolls.
Two forums ago we had something similar called “The Zone”. Anatta was a mod there. He was very good actually. Same concept.

I think there's some kind of glitch when trying to sign up here for some reason. That's why notsomuch traffic.
And then they see NHB and Dutch posts/spamming, and say "Fuck this! I'm out!". :awesome:

How did you come across the Bush Board on AOL?
My recollection, which is admittedly fuzzy, is it was almost like an advertisement on AOL’s homepage. It promoted different chat rooms and message boards. Rate George W. Bush was one of them. You clicked on it and joined.

(Now that we’re talking about it, I can remember meeting a couple of girls in SF in the chat rooms they promoted.)

I believe this was before Google became ubiquitous and before the idea someone might search on Yahoo for “political chat boards”
