I would like to know as well. Perhaps the PD and DA diod not want the likes of Jesse Lackson and Rev Al Sharptonto hit town protesting with the liberal media behind them pushing their race baiting stories
 
The YO Mama was what got the officer. In a speech Gates gave in the past, he said his mama hates all whites and laughed about it. It's not a coincidence anymore that Obama has these kinds of friends. He's just like them.

How often are disturbing the peace charges prosecuted in Cambridge?

I know in Denver, where I grew up, it was more a reason to enforce a cool down period, they'd arrest you, then release you after you had cooled down and drop the charges. I only knew of rare occurrences where they actually prosecuted for it and even more rarely convictions, and those were usually pleas from a higher charge.

Not according to Gates....and that is the crux of this entire farce.....his word against the cops. And guess what? The cops didn't pursue the matter, they dropped the case. If the cops had a case to stand up in court, they would have pursued it. They didn't.

Gates refused to show his ID twice to the Officer, them complied - and as the Officer was leaving - Gates followed him outside screaming

I waiting for you to truthfully answer a question with some facts.....why did the cops drop the charges if they were so ironclad as you say? I mean, they had enough balls to demand an apology before the nation, but yet they can't process their slam dunk case past the local precinct officers? Have any "facts" beyond your worthless supposition and conjecture?

I did answer and so did others. You are bent on declaring the white cop a racist, and sticking your head in the sand over how Gates was out to cause a seen by playing the race card

With useful idiots like you ignoring the facts, he will get his 15 minutes of fame, and the Police Officer will be branded a racist - regardless of the truth
