Edwards gives the speech of a Lifetime...

All those are valid points. But Edwards wants to PUNISH the wealthy in this country for being to wealthy. He wants to tax the shit out of them. He wants a healthcare system that will bankrupt us without a HUGE tax increase. He paints with huge broad strokes about evil corporations as if all corps are killing the population with bad products and working us to death. The days of the 60's and 70's liberal are gone. The majority of working americans want to be rich. They want enough money to pay all their bills, go on vacation, buy new cars and tvs and all the other shit that goes with consumerism and they will not stand for someone trying to take that away from them by over taxing the ONLY people that are going to give them jobs to make that dream possible.

I've not once heard Edwards call rich people, or corporations evil. And I've seen quite a few of his speeches. I suspect that's merely an interpretation on your part, based on your own internal partisan politics.

I have seen Edwards say that wealthy special interests wield too much influnce over public policy in this country. And that working americans and the national welfare, is not sufficiently considered.

And I've seen him say that corporations will always have their interests adequatly represented in washington. They don't need a president to represent them.

And you know what? He's right. Corporations have always flourished and prospered in the country under both liberal and conservative leadership. Rich people have always done fabulous, regardless of who's been Prez. You really should stop worring about them. ;)

I love the way toppy keeps throwing "phony" around, and then says "Hillary 08" completely without irony...

I know...and it's even better, because he actually throws "phoney" around, followed by "Hillary 08" and "get an education community colleger"

only the castro wing of the dems are hating on our next pres Hillary.
There's a reason she's 20 % higher than Obama and 30% higher than Breck girl

Remember, though, that progressive taxation always "punishes the wealthy" just for being wealthy.

Yeah, boy, howdy. Them rich folks sure looked like they were a-hurtin' back in '79. Good thing Saint Ronnie came along and saved 'em all.

wow lorax I'd say that was sophmoric, but as usual your post are lacking in facts and just far left air america type slams:pke:

So what policies will he advocate? Besides chastising others for not giving back corporate money, what will he do?

Will he do anything to stop the hemorraging of american jobs to sweatshops overseas? Or will he only ensure more dependance with handouts? What is he really proposing?
