Edwards

Yeah, and also, cancelling all trade agreements as soon as he takes office? No way.

Hmmm I kind of like that. Don't know if that legal though. Anyway I wouldn't do it right away but I'd begin working on it. NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT go bye-bye. They're unconstitutional anyway.

Although I get accussed on fullpolitics all the time, of being an extreme leftists, or even socialist, I'm a pretty pragmatic voter.

I believe in facts, more than ideology. Candidates who are ideologoues freak me out. I consider myself liberal, but I try to live in the reality and fact-based community.

I want a president who is a stateman. Not a bomb-thrower. I like big and bold progressive ideas, but I don't like recklessness or foolishness. I did vote for kucinich in the 2004 primary, but it was more of a protest vote.

You could vote Green.

Me if we get Clinton vs some Rep I don't like (which is most of em) I'm definitely voting Libertarian.

Why lend support to someone I don't agree with on a majority of issues.

No, sadly I won't be able to vote for the first woman to become President, if indeed she should. Not in the primaries anyway. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do if she gets the nomination. Well, probably vote for her. Who am I going to vote for, Rudy? Might as well as be real.

God, it would totally suck if it was Hillary versus Rudy.

Something tells me it won't be though. I think Hillary is going to crash and burn in the primaries, when the real democratic activists come out in force to vote.

I hope you're right. Organize your friends.

I wish Elizbeth Edwards the best. Interesting to note that one of the pundits supporting Edwards decisin to run was Sean Hannity. Basically, as he said, it's up to them to decide, not us.

I'm back from a grand and glorious week in Daytona Beach.

Welcome back.

"I think he's a hell of a guy for it, I mean, if he's going to quit the race to be with his wife, rather than you know, serving her with divorce papers like some "family values" types I could mention."

Funny... so many Dems bitch and whine everytime a Rep brings up Clinton... but when the topic is Edwards, you go back to Newt?

I can't vote in a republican primary. If I could, a candidates history of adultry and divorce would be way down on my radar screen. I wouldn't rule an adulterer out for higher office.

The question is, why do repubs have two sets of standards? In 2000, repubs gleeefully waved around those campaign banners that read: "Morality Matters!". I don't recall ever hearing a single republican disavowing the notion that adultery should not be a major topic, in terms of evaluating a candidate.

Why is adultery okay, when a republican does it?
