LOTS of rich people donated big bucks to Kamala too. She had a LOT more money to spend than Trump did. What does that have to do w/ the OP?

LOTS of rich people donated big buckets to Kamala too. She had a LOT more money to spend than Trump did.
You must be referring to George Soros.I'm sure it's appreciated, because it definitely helped get Trump elected.
But how do you feel about a single individual having so much say in a campaign via their dollars? And I know Dems have this too.
Do you think this is a good thing for regular people?
Musk is going to save the tax payer far more money than any break he might get.Wealthy donors getback multiples of what they donate in tax breaks and legislation. The donation is an investment.

This is so rich hearing radical, communist, anti American dems complaining about one man's $$ support
of Trump. That money Elon spent for Trump's election had absolutely little if not anything at all to do with
Trump's victory. The cackler wouldn't have won that election if Elon gave his entire 320 billion or so
dollars to her campaign. The people spoke and they want to get America back on its feet, so they
overwhelmingly voted in our greatest modern day president in Trump. Its going to be fun watching you
radical liberals crying when Elon and Vivek completely clean out the horrible deep state and the deep
bureaucratic deep state by saving tax payers up to some 2 trillion dollars. No more wasteful spending
of our taxpayer monies on useless green deal nonsense etc.
And we can thank the Roberts Court for that one, put Citizens United right up there with the other colossal fuck upsElon Musk, the world’s richest man, spent over a quarter of a billion dollars in the final months of this year’s election to help Donald J. Trump win the presidency, federal filings revealed on Thursday.
Elon Musk Spent Over $250 Million to Help Elect Trump
The enormous spending from the world’s richest man quietly fueled allied groups and was revealed only now, as Mr. Musk plays a key role in the presidential transition.www.nytimes.com
No businessman invests without expecting more in return.
Beyond hysterical coming from one who told us Soros got nearly every other Democrat in America electedThis is so rich hearing radical, communist, anti American dems complaining about one man's $$ support

Show me a quote saying that Soros got nearly every other dem in America elected. Never happened.Beyond hysterical coming from one who told us Soros got nearly every other Democrat in America elected
When Democrat candidates start paying for the in kind contributions from the MSM I'll worry about Musk. Can you imagine how much the support of NBC ABC and CBS is worth? Did you watch the moderators playing for team Blue in the Presidential AND in the VP Debate?.I mentioned that in my post that you responded to. I was trying to be proactive about anticipating the whataboutism, which I acknowledge, and have an actual discussion about individual money in politics.
The budget calls for 44.9 billion dollars be spent on climate change. That is a sizable chunck of the discretionary budget. The amount we spend on climate stuff is actually laughably insignificant.
If any real money is going to be cut, it has to be from defense & entitlement programs like Social Security (and good luck to Elon & Vivek on that)
A South African expat should not be able to influence an American election to that extent.

I don't recall seeing any previous concern posts of yours on the subject of individual money in politics.
Is your apparent disdain for individual donations a recent phenomenon?
I've posted a ton about individual money in politics, and money in politics in general.
So you say.
