Entire Portland Police Rapid Response Team Resigns

Sighs. I should have known that the JPP RWers would avoid the topic like a plague.

I know some of the thread has drifted off topic, that's pretty common here. As to the original topic, I think that holding the police, or anyone, to a standard of absolute perfection is almost always a mistake. Here, the officer in question was held to such a standard and the result was that the entire response team quit because they realized they could be next. One mistake and their whole life is ruined by over zealous prosecution and politics that see the police as the enemy.

The topic is the Portland Police Rapid Response Team resigning, dumbass.

^This is why you cannot argue with a mentally challenged, lying, thread trolling leftist dumbass on steroids. Any questions?

Why would they be worried? The cop DID assault the woman. You can clearly see it in the video I posted.

Now they can hire a whole new department and weed out the masochists. That would make everything much better. Many years ago police did not brutalize and injure people like they do now. I am sure they can find police to transfer who do not want to be part of that abuse.

This is not about the Antifa and the violence from them. This is about the Rapid Response Team resigning because one of their members was indicted for assaulting a woman without cause.

This is all about Portland and it's anti-cop Mayor and City Council and the violence that is causing many in the force to resign. Only mental cases like you think everything is unrelated.

If you are a cop watching the city burn down, then one of your members being charged for doing their job, you wouldn't want to work there either.

On the night of August 18, 2020, Antifa militants threw a Molotov cocktail into the County Sheriff's Department Headquarters as the Rapid Response Team struggled to contain the riot.

Budworth is accused of hitting activist photographer and rioter Teri Jacobs with a baton. Videos posted to social media shows Budworth hitting Jacobs in the head from behind, then again as she falls to the ground, OPB reports. Video of the incident circulated on social media.

"Unfortunately, this decorated public servant has been caught in the crossfire of agenda-driven city leaders and a politicized criminal justice system," the police union wrote in a statement, describing Jacobs as a "criminal rioter."

So yes you dumb fuck; let Portland burn itself to the ground and see how their anti-cop, criminal loving leaders react when their homes are threatened and burned. You are one major DUMB CUNT on steroids.

So does that mean that you excuse the cop's use of force on an unarmed woman on the ground? She was not a threat to him.

The police were clearing the area and she--thinking wrongly that "journalists" were somehow exempt--didn't get away from the cops. We don't know if there was any verbal interaction either. This is one of those situations like the cops in Buffalo knocking that old man to the ground that looks bad to the untrained eye but isn't what it appears when you understand the full thinking and interaction of all parties.

It wouldn't have happened if she'd stayed away from the cops. Given that Portland is having nightly riots I'd say the police are likely to have become jaded to the whole thing where they see anyone not staying away from them as a threat. I think you'd be that way too after many nights of what's going on there.

As for worry, if they see this guy's actions as part of their practice and training, then they should be worried that they're next. We're doing what we trained to do and now we're getting arrested for it...

Mental cases like you probably believe that you can respond to violent protestors by hugging them. Be less of a dishonest dumbass. :palm:
