The far right have been pushing a meme for several years now that Donald Trump, conman and egomaniac, has been sent by God to be “a vessel for the purposes of the faithful” in the role of King of the United States of America.

Unbeknownst to people with even a tenuous grip on reality, prior to the midterms a thousand theaters showed “The Trump Prophecy,” a film about a firefighter who, in a blinding orgiastic epiphany, picks up a Bible and turns to Isaiah 45, “which describes the anointment of King Cyrus by God.” Get it, Isaiah “45” — Trump “45”? What more proof do you need, right?

This isn’t the religious right we thought we knew. The Christian nationalist movement today is authoritarian, paranoid and patriarchal at its core. They aren’t fighting a culture war. They’re making a direct attack on democracy itself.

However, are we now officially in the last days? We have the likes of guno preaching his hate for truth, and Christianity in particular. Then we have the far right "Evangelicals" ignoring the Word of God.

I again find your ignorance somewhat sadly amusing. You use terms you have no understanding of, and the only one you are impressing is yourself. For instance, goyim is the plural of goy. Therefore, goyim refers to a nation of gentiles, while goy refers to the individual gentile.

Now surely no intelligent person would refer to a nation of gentiles when addressing an individual. And even more so while ignoring the point made.
 
To we who are outside religions and looking at them without favoritism, they are all the same. Great propaganda designed to take money and power for the leadership. They are all based on lies and fantasies. They make no sense and cause a lot of damage. Religions have histories of war and violence. That has not changed. Religions fight the education of people. Part of religions are teaching insiders to hate and distrust the non memebers. We would all be better off without religions.
