Why of course they would defend Obama against the spurious allegations to the hilt, call the investigation a sham, say the whistleblower is a deep state spy, attempt in congress to expose him, call the impeachment a sham, ignore witnesses against Obama, label all the evidence thin and hearsay while at the same time denying access to any percipient witnesses, say Obama's call was perfect, protest the infringement on executive authority, deny any witnesses in a Senate removal trial, deny any admission of any new documents, ashcan all subpoenas, say it's not impeachable, and move to immediately acquit!
